Mountain View RV Park, Wheatland, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed here one night while traveling south. Conveniently located right off I-25. Person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. This was fine for a one night but would not stay longer. The better of the two RV parks in Wheatland. Sites are very close to each other and many appear to be full time residents. Walking dog was easy. Wi-Fi easily accessible. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great place to stay. We stayed here for 4 nights. Very convenient to the Buffalo Bill museum and the Visitors' Center. Excellent sites treed and not treed. Very accommodating staff. Adequate dog run. (But there is an excellent dog park in Cody. Ask at the Visitors' Center for info.). The only negative is that Wi-Fi can be spotty depending on location of site. We had to take our laptop to the game room which was a Wi-Fi hotspot. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for 2 nights. At check in owner was very accommodating. Great laundry. Many treed sites as well as many without trees. Only negative is its location right off interstate which resulted in road noise. Very convenient to local attractions. Lots of room to walk dogs. Wi-Fi easily accessed. Very nice place. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed a week. Many beautiful wooded sites as well as sites with no trees. Large, clean laundry, bathrooms, and showers. Hosts and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about all the sights. Ample place to walk dogs. Good centralized location. Cable TV and excellent access to Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay here again We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.
