Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with great large sites and very convenient location. Roads were adequate for big rigs. Very nice park with good staff. Everything you need is walking distance from park. When taking this route we will stop at this park again. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We will not be returning to this park. The campsites are very, very tight and the traffic flow of the park leaves a lot to be desired. The roads are not big rig friendly. All hookups are at the back of the rig requiring 2 lengths of sewer hose and 2 cable cords hooked together. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoy River St. and downtown Savannah very much. Two restaurants we enjoyed were Molly MacPherson's Pub down the street from the campground and Moon River Brewing Company in Downtown.

Paradise Oaks RV Resort, Bushnell, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Trains, trains, trains all day and night. If you play golf do not come here. The golf course does not have real greens. This campground needs some landscaping between sites for privacy purposes. This should not be classified as a resort. They advertise Wi-Fi but it is nonexistent. You can't even connect at most public buildings. Pluses are the buildings and grounds are kept very well. We camped at Paradise Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park, Kinder, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Definitely the top campground that we stayed at. The grounds were beautiful, sites were concrete level pads and for those that do not own their own rig there are beautiful cabins around the lake to rent. Roads, pool and full hookup sites were well kept. We definitely will stay here again. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Niagara Falls KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for several nights and don't believe we got our money's worth. Our site was a full hookup 30 amp site with nothing special. KOA should modify their pricing structure to take into account use of amenities. It had just rained and that was not the park's fault but flooding sites are something they could do something about. Our site had side by side hook-ups and we prayed no one would pull in next to us because we could all sit and watch one TV. To their credit they were working on some sites, but shut off our power and we were never given the option of another site. We will never stay at this KOA because you had to pay for everything including a morning cup of coffee. If you have children it is next door to Fantasy Island Amusement Park - a plus if you use the park - a minus due to noise and traffic. We could not use the restrooms and showers close to us because they were closed due to renovations - another reason why we probably should have been offered another site. We camped at Niagara Falls KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Conesus Lake Campground, Conesus, New York

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is built on the side of a hill. It is steep to enter and exit. Bring a lot of lumber for leveling. There are old decks alongside trailers that are falling down. It is 50 years old and it looks it. There have been no improvements to the sites at all. If you have a rig over 30' do not even bother. Sites are not deep enough to handle rigs built today. Buildings at the park are in need of improvement and remodeling. It is an RV park trying to be a mobile home park. We would never stay here again. We camped at Conesus Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
