Allentown KOA, New Tripoli, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We checked in late and found it very nice that someone actually escorted us to our site. This was the first time that we have ever had this and found it very helpful since it was dark. The campground was very nice, clean, and the staff friendly. WiFi worked great, no alcohol is allowed so there were no rowdy drunks so it was very quiet after about 10:30 pm. Although we did not use the pool it looked very nice. The roads are gravel and most of the sites are level. The only problem we had was that the KOA sign pointing into the park from the highway is right across the street and in the middle of hill going down. We did not see any signs at night before this one and had to "stop on a dime" in order to turn into the road. They should make the signs leading to that road on the highway bigger and more easy to see at night. And I don't think we were the only ones that this happened to since we saw lots of skid marks on the highway. We liked this park a lot and will return there again. We camped at Allentown KOA in a Travel Trailer.
