Nice park for overnight stay. An oasis in the desert - PLUS - a great little restaurant. The lady who usually check us in is remarkably friendly and accommodating. We stay here every time we travel I-10. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Balmorhea State Park, Balmorhea, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice state park - stayed one night only. Pool was closed for cleaning - but didn't need it. Park ranger was very courteous. Lots to do in the area - but we were just passing through. Very clean park. Our picnic table didn't have a covered structure over it - but as we were here for the night - it wasn't an issue. If we were to stay longer - we would make sure we had the covered areas. We camped at Balmorhea State Park in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park - serene - nestled among a lot of trees. Just off I-10 but no road noise. The buildings - from the office, club house, and other buildings are really nice. The pads are concrete and very level - large spacious sites. This was our first time staying here and we were here only for one night - but we plan to go back and stay longer. The grounds are immaculate! Check in was easy and lady on phone and in office was very courteous. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeview RV Resort, Houston, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is excellent. Clean beautiful spot! The property managers certainly know how to operate this place - it shows in every detail that they give in caring for and managing the park. Nice, concrete pads, level, beautiful lake, ground are immaculate and attention is given to all details. Laundry is great, general purpose room is huge, exercise equipment, nice porch to sit on and look at the lake. Plus, the managers are really good people - very personable - and go out of their way to make sure everything is good for the residents. Lots of people here going to the medical facilities in Houston. We like the gated community and sense of security that this park gives. Thank you to the owners and managers for providing such a nice place for those who are here with medical issues. Great place! We camped at Lakeview RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Boerne, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park - sites are rather close - navigation around the park can be confusing. We ended up on a dead end street and couldn't hardly turn around with our tow - but that was our fault. would be nice to have someone direct you to your site. But overall - it was a nice stay - big place - great people in the office - and probably a good place to stay in this area. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Excellent stop over - great restaurant on site - good prices. Spaces were great. If I had to say anything - the road leading into the park is full of pot holes to navigate. But that didn't affect our stay. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lost Alaskan RV Park, Alpine, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Wow - Excellent park and great owners and park hosts. We had reservations but had not decided on the type of site. Once we arrived, we quickly made our decision to pay a bit more and park in a premier site. Very nice and spacious. Sites are very level, 90 feet long with picket fence between sites along with a nice concrete pad, concrete table, and big grill. This is an excellent park and convenient to many good sight seeing places. Big event hall and nice swimming pool. Beautiful setting and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lost Alaskan RV Park in a Motorhome.

Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort, Lajitas, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great park hosts. Wide open spaces with beautiful views in the surrounding areas. There are only one or two rows that offer cable TV. The main guest room is very nice - beautiful pool area. The hotel amenities - i.e., shops, etc. - were very limited - only two shops in the complex. Beautiful golf course where you can rent a cart even if you don't golf and ride the course. Long way off the beaten path, but a beautiful place to stay. We camped at Maverick Ranch RV Park at Lajitas Resort in a Motorhome.

Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is a spectacular park - quiet - clean - beautiful setting. The owners are really a blessing to all - they know how to run a park and treat their guests. They take care of this place and it shows. The sites are spacious and very level. The owners make it a point to make sure you are satisfied and go out of their way to take care of everything. This is our second time here - and will definitely be back - so much to see and do in and around the area. We see a number of return guests - that says it all! We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

RV Resort of Ruidoso, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Relatively new park - opened for one (1) year. Individual who took phone reservations was very courteous and helpful. Lady who checked us in was extremely nice and assisted us in checking out sites other than the one we had been assigned. Beautiful views - sits on the side of a mountain - sites are terraced up the mountain. My only suggestion is that some of the sites need to be leveled a bit better. Lots of good rock foundation that just needs leveling and perhaps marked better with cross ties or landscaping timbers. The owners have done a good job in laying out the park. You couldn't ask for a cleaner, nicer, park, very quiet, and away from the road noise. We would stay here again!! We camped at RV Resort of Ruidoso in a Motorhome.

Vallecito Resort, Bayfield, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely spectacular! Nicest people at the park - from reservations - to arrival - to departure. They have lots of events planned for the park guests. There are extremely nice, permanent places, cabins, and then RV sites that are shady, level, and very easy to get in and out of. Close to Vallecita Lake and Durango. We will definitely go back and stay longer. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. We camped at Vallecito Resort in a Motorhome.

Needed an overnight stay while passing through. Called and they had space for us. A real surprise once you turn into the park - very well kept - nice - with lots of amenities. Park host was so nice and hospitable. Due to water issues they provided a case of water for us. Really nice people and a good place to stay. Will definitely stay there again. Branson Stagecoach Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park - and the owners are so connected to what's going on - go out of their way to make sure everything's working right. We had problems connecting to internet - they came to our coach to check on it - resolved the issue with a re-boot of their system. Many of the sites are concrete - very level. This is a very beautiful and peaceful park - away from all the noise of Branson - yet just a few miles from the attractions and shows. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the owners for a wonderful time! We camped at Branson Stagecoach Campground in a Motorhome.
