Winnebago Service Campground (For Service Customers Only), Forest City, Iowa

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

There are about 18 sites near Cust. Service with electric only. There are about 14 more up a hill by the Visitors Center. You have to go to a city park or Winnebago's rally grounds to dump and get water. We camped at Winnebago Service Campground (For Service Customers Only) in a Motorhome.

Lazy Acres RV Park, Center Point, Iowa

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here only for one night but were pleasantly surprised. The owners were terrific. The sites are very large. The park is exceptionally clean and kid friendly. Yes you are near I-380 but the road noise was negligible. We hardly noticed it. The only dislike was the amount of soft speed bumps on the roads. Not really a problem though. We would return any time when passing by. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Timberline Campground, Waukee, Iowa

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Park is North off I-40 but watch carefully for your right turn up the road. The park is hilly and sites are not all level. Our WIFI worked well. There are very wooded areas where satellite probably wouldn't work. Other areas are clear. We camped at Timberline Campground in a Motorhome.

Double Nickel Campground, Waco, Nebraska

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were spacious. The young couple who took over this park have worked hard and made many improvements. We stayed just one night but would stay again when passing. There is nothing nearby the campground except a nice 9 hole golf course and good views. They have wooden swings that are very nice throughout the park. We were escorted to our site. Sites were pretty level. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights on a 40 ft. RV. The sites are very level and good size. The WIFI worked well. The office people were pleasant and we were escorted to our site. It's a few miles west of downtown Alamogordo but only a few minutes with a good highway. No trees in the park. We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Fort Willcox RV Park, Willcox, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Park is basic but has level gravel sites. Staff at the office is very helpful. Offers some great pies for sale too. Despite what another reviews said we did have a 50 amp pull thru site. The WIFI was working okay for us. The park is about 35 miles from Chiricahua park but it's as close as any others. I would stay here again. We camped at Fort Willcox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This park was an okay stop. The sites were large, level, and clean. I paid for a 50 amp service but once hooked up the 50 amp didn't work. The 30 amp off another pedestal was okay. I notified the manager that night. Next day they checked it and gave a small cash refund even though I didn't expect it. Very fair. The electric services were recently upgraded. The Wi-Fi was good. The park is a very short walk to a good restaurant on Rt.66 - Del's and also Kix on 66. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mark Twain Cave Campground, Hannibal, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here just one night. The staff was friendly. Yes the road to the sites is rough. We have a big rig and there was no problem with the thin new growth branches grazing the roof top. I was worried about branches scraping the sides but there were none. The Wi-Fi didn't work at night but was up in the morning. Park is just a few miles from downtown Hannibal. It works good for a short visit. Site was very level and long enough for our 40' and tow. We camped at Mark Twain Cave Campground in a Motorhome.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very clean. Office staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area kept clean. There are only about 10 ocean sites but all units are a short walk to the small beach front. The Park hosts some social events like ice cream nights and pancake breakfasts. All sites have a good size cement pad with a side pad and picnic table. There is a gravel area next to the rig to park the car. Paved roads and easy access. Our rate was Good Sam, accepts AAA also. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Benchmark RV Park, Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites have a large cement pad. We had a pull thru and were able to pull our car up behind the rig. Not too much outside the park. It's an easy 10 minutes from downtown Meridian. Park host was pleasant. Has an isolated clean dog area. Our rate is the Passport rate, cash only. We camped at Benchmark RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quebec City KOA, Saint Nicolas, Quebec

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet park. Very convenient to Quebec City and shopping. Wi-Fi service very good. Sites were well kept and are packed gravel. They have fire rings and tables at each site. Staff provided a welcome kit with local maps, sightseeing ideas, and simple translation phrases. I really don't know the rate as I was here with a caravan group and rate was prepaid. Many sites are shaded. We had some trees around us so couldn't get our satellite reception. We could have asked for another site but TV wasn't important while here. We camped at Quebec City KOA in a Motorhome.

We found the staff to be very friendly. The sites were large on hard packed gravel. Some sites are shaded. They had a nice area set up with yard games for anyone to use anytime. Park was super clean and well kept. We would stay here again if in the area. The rate we paid was a Passport rate. They also honor Good Sam. Wi-Fi was excellent all over the park. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.
