Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is a nice place. Owners have done a lot of "landscaping" to provide level sites. Hookups were convenient for out travel trailer. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We had a cheeseburger, a garden salad & a chicken salad at the newly opened grill. My cheeseburger was good. My wife said the chicken in her salad was very good. The lettuce in the salads appeared to have come out of a bag.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

If our site, and the one across the road, was an indication of other sites in the campground be prepared with LOTS of leveling blocks. The campground wasn't even half full so I assume these 2 that were occupied were some of the more level sites. The guy across the road had the front wheels of his motorhome off the ground trying to get level. I didn't want to unhook for an overnight stay. Our site was unlevel enough that, without leveling, I would not have run the refrigerator overnight. Cable & WiFi worked fine, but probably not many WiFi users. Good AT&T signal. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The woman at front desk was absolutely great. All gravel, no WiFi at sites. Sewer connection at back of site, needed 20' of hose to connect. We would stay there again if in the area. We camped at Quality Inn & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Good place for overnight stay between Salt Lake City & Bryce Canyon. If park was full sites would be very close. Some leveling needed. We camped at Butch Cassidy RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Some spaces are tight getting in & out, because of trees. We couldn't put our awning out, but didn't need it because of shade. We camped at Bryce Canyon Pines in a Travel Trailer.

AB Camping & RV Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Mid afternoon we called and reserved a pull thru site for the night. Electric only was all that was available. The site, and several others, are on a worn strip of lawn next to the main camp road. It was difficult to get our travel trailer level enough so that I didn't have to worry about the refrigerator being to far out of plumb. The temperature was such that it would have been cool enough to sleep with the windows open. We had to close the windows and turn on the AC because of all the barking dogs, in the campground. 11PM and something just set off the barking again. This place is better than stopping at a Walmart and setting up our generator, but not by much. Were we in one of the full hook up real pull thru sites I would have rated the park a 5. We camped at AB Camping & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Jackson RV Park, Jackson, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Okay for an overnight stay. I would not call it big rig friendly. We camped in a 40' motorhome with a dinghy. Fortunately they weren't busy because we had to park diagonally across 2 pull thrus and still blocked part of the roadway. You have to make a loop through the trailer park to get access to the pull thrus. $20 rate included tax. We arrived late and left early. Talked to the mgr on the phone but never saw him. Put money in an envelope and dropped it into mail slot in the office door. We camped at Jackson RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is close to beach, but beach is not visible from most sites. Sites are tight. Manager was OK but was never in office. You either had to call him or wait until he happened to be walking through the park. Rate $200/wk, including tax. We camped at The Breeze Hotel & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rainbow Plantation - Escapees Rainbow Park , Summerdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

The $19/nightly rate was actually a $128/week Escapees rate. We reserved a site for a week prior to leaving MO. We ended up staying three weeks. Staff was friendly, sites are very large, good $3.50/person breakfast at clubhouse on Saturday mornings. The campground is approximately 20 minutes off I-10, not close enough to the Interstate for an overnight stay. Roads to campground, and in campground are good. We only saw two, single, shower/toilet units, but we didn't search for them since we used the facilities in our motorhome. The pool was not open, the water was not warm enough to use it, during our stay. TengoInternet is available for a fee. The signal was not great at our site. We tethered our laptops to our phones, which worked fine. Lack of a heated pool/spa, poor campground Internet and lack of cable TV access were the reasons I did not give the campground a 10. For the price it is a fantastic deal and we will stay there again if we are in the area. We camped at Rainbow Plantation - Escapees Rainbow Park in a Motorhome.

Pleasant lady took reservation, checked me in and led me to my site. Roads were fine for my 40' motorhome pulling a toad. I was traveling through the area and needed a place for an overnight stop. I would stay there again if I am in the area. We camped at Camelot RV Campground in a Motorhome.
