Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We were an overnight stay. This is a really lovely park with a nice lake with a walking trail. Level sites and spacious. This would be an excellent park for a longer stay. However, I did think the price was high. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lakewood RV Resort (55+ park), Flat Rock, North Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a bit of a disappointment. It is well cared for and does look very nice and the staff is very good. However, entering the campground is a very, very steep decline. Resulting in sites in the flats with mountain and large trees surrounding which is lovely, but there is no internet reception. They say they have WiFi, but it doesn't work. We also have internet through our Android, but it can't get reception either. Also, we were on site 224 which is an end site whose sewer connection is too far (even with an extended hose) to hook up which is inconvenient. If you don't care for WiFi and don't take that end site, I think most folks would like the park. We camped at Lakewood RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Oak Creek Campground, Verona, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely well-cared for campground. We were just an overnight stop, but it has a list of many activities that go on there and recommendations for places to visit. It has a lovely creek along one side and a great playground for children. One section has more permanent folks and the area has a homey feel to it with folks who really take care of their sites. I would not hesitate to stay there for a longer visit. Quiet and peaceful, and the staff is excellent. We camped at Oak Creek Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are only an overnight stop, there are pull through spots in an area near the creek. Our site 39 was in that section. The more permanent sites are in a sections that does not seem to be used for non-permanent visitors. The entire campground is very well maintained.

Circle B Campground, Angola, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very unique RV Park. It feels very country with pond and large Hogback Lake. The grounds are spacious as are the sites. The grounds are well maintain. The vast majority of the property is for seasonal folks; however, there are very many sites for those who would like to stay a weekend, a week, a month, etc. Also, there is a large flat area for weekenders and overnight stops. We were there for an overnight stop. This is a full service park/resort with many many things for children and adults to do to enjoy their stay. I would recommend this park for anyone who wants to get away from usual responsibilities and just have fun. We camped at Circle B Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

River Park RV Park, Valdosta, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was an overnight stop for us and this RV park worked out very well. It is well maintained and a very pretty RV Park. The paved area on the site for the RV is somewhat narrow, but there was no trouble getting in or out of the pull through site and same with the campground roads. Staff was friendly and efficient. We camped at River Park RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Harvest Moon RV Park, Adairsville, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Well maintained and very nice campground with spacious sites. Site on gravel. Easy access from I-75. This was an overnight stop for us. There was a train that comes by, but it was not loud or disruptive. Excellent staff. Our site back window looked to a machine shop type business next door. While that wasn't quite attractive it would not discourage us from a return visit as by 5 p.m. the shop is closed. We camped at Harvest Moon RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely RV campground is at the same exit as Mammoth Cave National Park. Cave Country RV Campground is a lovely well maintained campground with excellent landscaping. It has good spacing begin sites and sites are long enough for large RVs. There is an exercise room in the office area with several pieces of equipment. The interstate is near, but the campground is located in a quiet area with green fields and peaceful surroundings. We were here on an overnight stay, but it would also be excellent for longer stays. The staff does a very fine job and very friendly. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there only overnight, but we have been in the area before, and Mammoth Cave National Park is very worth while seeing, and there appears to be many other things to do in this beautiful area.

Cincinnati South Campground, Crittenden, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This RV Park is a small to medium full service park. The sites are very nice and condition of park is good. Easy to get around in the park with a large RV. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a nice setting. The only problem is the trains coming nearby that really sound their horns loudly. It seems from 11 p.m. to about 5 a.m. there was little train traffic. I like trains and during the daytime hours it is fine, but can disturb sleep. Also, there is noise from the highway, but not noticeable once in the RV. It is a great overnight stop. I don't know the area so don't know about tourist activities. We camped at Cincinnati South Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pine Ridge RV Campground, Birch Run, Michigan

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for overnight or staying longer. Frankenmuth is 3 miles away and is a great place to visit. RV Park is clean and well cared for, and just a lovely setting with many trees. But it is easy getting around the park and most sites are pull-through. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We have been here many times because it's quality is dependable. We camped at Pine Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
