Ennis RV Village, Ennis, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here in 2011 and 2013 but not a full two months as we have in July and August 2015. The spaces are plenty long to facilitate bigger rigs than our 42 footer. A nice grass lawn with gravel parking. Steve the owner and his staff are wonderful and always willing to chat or direct you to area attractions which are many. The restroom and laundry are always clean and tidy. We will always consider Enniss RV Village a home away from home. We have been enjoying our stay and look forward to coming back again in a few years. We have been RVing for 10 years and the last three as full timers and we feel Ennis RV Village a treasure among RV parks! If possible, get ahold of Steve and book a little time here. It will become a home away from home for you as it has for us. We camped at Ennis RV Village in a Motorhome.

West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA, Gretna, Nebraska

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Where do I start??? Heavy rain when we arrived but entrance is a nightmare with traffic driving 60 MPH for a left hook turn with oncoming traffic coming over hill. Almost got broadsided. Large potholes on driveway and gray mud. Our site was a deluxe pull thru but again needing a lot of rock which was stockpiled away but not used. Park attendant said it rains in Nebraska. We stayed 4 long nights and were very anxious to leave. This only reinforces my staying away from KOA's! My opinion, a dump! We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Sun Tree RV Park, Post Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

What a let down! We reserved a week at Sun Tree RV Park from 9/11 thru 9/18/14. We should have known we had a problem when we arrived to find out he expected us the 12th and had to put us in another site that was the neighborhood dog potty area, allowed or not, with very dry, unkempt, candy wrappers and dried leaves. I chose to take my own rake and do my best to rake and clear as to not drag debris into our motor coach. After raking two large piles away from our entry step, I told site manager that I would appreciate it if his park attendant would remove the piles I had prepared for him. I was told he would have him take care of it shortly. Making a long story short, after 6 days the piles are still there. The second morning I moved to our originally reserved site. Many of the guests in the park are full time live in your RV guests. Most of the rigs looked as if they would not have passed an inspection to be able to travel on the highway. Lots of piled up garbage under awnings and lots of dust. Speed limit, 5 1/2 MPH, most park residents drove much faster. After we registered and paid a very high rate we found the park rules state "no refunds". After cars speeding through park, spinning out making dust clouds we were ready to leave after first night. Reluctantly we stayed rather than throw away $225. On the third day I noticed little red bugs climbing all over the back of our motorhome and I emptied a can of bug spray to get rid of them. No such luck. Now we are finding these gross looking bugs in our coach and one crawling on my wife. Again I addressed this matter with the park management and was assured that the groundsman would be over immediately to dispose of the problem. I gave them an hour and finally pulled up roots and pulled up to the office with our coach to hook up our tow vehicle and again have some more words with the manager. He told me he forgot about the grass and candy wrapper piles and just gawked at the bug and tissue collection we gave him in plastic bags from the inside of our coach. No apology, no refund, no nothing. I told him I would definitely note my concerns on RVParkReviews in which he seemed not to care. We have been RVing for ten years spending winters in Arizona and full timers for the last two years. Sun Tree RV Park is the worst, filthiest, over congested park we have ever stayed at. We will never stay at Sun Tree RV Park again. Bad enough being close to a 150 feet from I-90 and a hundred feet from a 24 hour truck stop, this park is a DUMP! This assessment was told to the manager himself with no concern! I am fully disgusted! We camped at Sun Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

At the end of a long day of traveling, this is just the place we needed! Our GPS got us lost but the park employees spent time with us on the phone and step by step got us here to the park. That extra special help was only the beginning of a wonderful stay. The employees seem to go out of the way to make our stay here the best in a long, long time. The park is new with wide and long pull-thrus, level and more than accommodating for our 42 ft motor home. The showers were as clean as I would want at home and very appealing. We will make this a stop twice a tear from now on! We are full timers and only wish that all the other parks we visit we're as nice as this one. If I could rate it honestly, it would get a 11 on the scale of 1 to 10! We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park), Picacho, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful and well maintained park. The word park does not do this park justice, it is a resort. Clean pool, hot tub and showers. The staff were ready and willing to help when needed. We really enjoyed the beautiful sunset behind Picacho Peak. Will definitely will make this an annual stop. Sites are mostly pull throughs which we appreciate with a bigger rig and the managers were both professional and friendly. We camped at Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
