Excellent state park in Austin! The sites are huge. Most will accomdate any size rig. Many even have tent pads on them as well. We had no trouble with our 40' fifth wheel. We were in a pull out site and there were many back in sites that would have been just fine. The park was full and they are limited on 50 amp sites. Verizon works well in the area. Staff super helpful and friendly. The hiking trails are amazing as is the scenery at the falls. Great choice in the area for camping.

This park is set up and designed with both travelers and long term campers in mind. The roads are all paved, nice and wide as are the sites. Easy access with any size rig and the sites are long enough to stay hooked up if you need to. We had no trouble navigating with our 40' fifth wheel and dually. This park is very clean and the staff friendly. They have a daily breakfast which is a very nice touch. We did not use cable or wifi but it was available. All services worked well with no problems. They have a small and simple dog park at the back of the park which was well cared for.

This was a nice small Park with grass/gravel sites. Sites were long enough for our 40'fifth wheel and dually. Roads a little narrow going in and out, so you just have to take it slow, around the corners. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities in very good condition. They look like they cater to a strong seasonal snowbird demographic, all of which were very nice. Verizon worked well. The water is brown which we understand is a result from flooding in recent years. We were not able to connect to their wifi. We don't watch TV so we cannot say how the cable over the air is. The location is very good for site seeing in the area. The only downside for us was the fire ants and lots of them. They do have disc golf on site which looks like fun as well. We would consider this park when we go through the area again.

We have stayed here previously and can tell they have put a lot of time and money into improvements. The have Nice large concrete sites for even the biggest rigs. The staff is attentive and friendly. Wifi is great. It is easily accessed with little trouble navigating the roads with our fifth wheel. With that said, the roads are narrow and impossible for two rigs to pass each other. The sites are also on the narrow side, but not really an issue. They keep the place very clean which is immensely appreciated. They have a great grassy area that would be perfect for a fenced in dog park. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a difficult campground to rate. From an accessibility and service standpoint it is hand down a 10. However, it is a new park that is still working on getting things up and running. The truth is, the sites are fine for any size rig. Mostly pull thrus long enough for our 40' fifth wheel and truck remaining hooked up. The owners are amazing and super friendly. A huge plus in my book. If your looking for a pretty campground, they are still working on that. It's perfect for an overnight stop, but I don't think I would stay more than a night or two. There is also quite a bit of highway noise but not a deal breaker. Wifi is very good. I think in time this is going to be s great campground!!

This is by far one of the nicest state parks we have stayed in. The sites are large and vegetation provides some privacy between sites. There are some great trails throughout the park for walking and biking. The roads are a little tight in some places but we had no problem with our 31' motorhome and saw many much larger units throughout the park. The bathhouse was clean and well maintained. This park is a good launching pad for area beaches. We highly recommend this park to be near the gulf coast area.

This is s beautiful state park with gorgeous views. We camped here in a 31' motorhome and has no issues at all getting in and around the campground. We saw much larger rigs in the campground as well. Many sites were quite large both length and width wise. The vegetation between sites provided a sense of privacy. The bathhouses were clean and well maintained. Verizon worked well. We would definitely recommend this campground.

We stayed at this RV resort to explore the space coast. Easily accessible from the highway and no issues pulling our 40' fifth wheel in or out. We had a concrete back in site that acoomodated is nicely. All the hookups worked fine. The staff is very friendly and they obviously take pride in maintaining the resort. There were mostly snowbird rigs scattered throughout the park. They appear to have a lot of activities in season as well. This is the best option in the area and there is a fantastic seafood restaurant up the road, Dixie Crossroads.

This is a centrally located campground in Lakeland that is easily accessible and big rig friendly. We have 40' fifth wheel and had no trouble navigating the park with the exception of one area where it appeared there was a gathering with cars on both sides of the road making it a little snug to get through. This park catered mostly to snowbirds and has a section with park models and a section for RVs. We were in a premium plus site that was fine for our length. However the term premium plus is a bit disconcerting as it was really just a basic concrete pull thru with a picnic table. I would have expected a little more on a designated premium plus site. A back in would have been sufficient with more room side to side. For those interested in wifi it was very good. The water pressure was the best we have ever seen at a campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this park as a great launching pad for central Florida being convenient to all the major attractions as well as both coasts.

This is a beautiful park right in the middle of town. You would never know there was a fantastic campground here if you were not looking for it. The entrance from 192 to seven dwarfs is tight so I would recommend going up to Cecile Dr and waiting on traffic. We have a 40' fifth wheel and this was a much better entrance. Once inside the park there is no trouble navigating big rigs. The pull-thrus are gravel pads and are spacious and LONG. Some of the sites are 134' long. Great playground and dog park. The bathrooms and grounds are the best maintained I have seen, particularly in Florida. The pool and hot tub are clean and well cared for. The staff is super friendly. The back in sites are gravel and better suited for smaller units but can accommodate 40' on a few of them. Centrally located between both Florida coasts and just a few miles from the major attractions in the area. There are other options in the area but this is the best choice particularly for big rigs.

For smaller rigs, this campground is fine. It is close to the interstate and easy to get to. We chose this campground because it was listed as a big rig friendly campground and to be fair, yes the sites can accommodate our 40' fifth wheel and truck without unhooking. We don't mind tight campgrounds if we will be staying a while but after a long day of pulling, this is not a choice campground. The sites are very narrow and there are trees everywhere. The staff is friendly but slow. The registration office has a little bit of everything and they are willing to help if needed. Check closely on how to get out of your site and out of the campground. It's a lovely campground with the trees and Spanish moss but daunting pulling a large rig. I would not recommend as an overnight campground.

We love this campground. The staff is super friendly, the campground is very clean. The laundry/bathrooms/showers are very clean. The sites are gravel pull thrus and are easy to get in and out of with the biggest rigs. No problem with our 40' fifth wheel or our friends 45' fifth wheel. We even were able to get a much needed repair done with the trailer shop that is practically on the property. All hookups worked fine. We highly recommend this campground.

Date of Stay:

The big rig section of this campground is actually before you get to the campground itself. Sites are big enough to stay hooked up (we had a 40' and 45' fifth wheels). Registration is 1500' past the big rig "Creekside" section. I would recommend calling and getting your site number first instead of driving your rig down and then back to the site. All hookups worked great. Sites are gravel and there are lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs. Perfect for an overnight stay. We would stay here again.

This is a fantastic getaway and a great place to camp. Right on the river with spectacular views. Basic sites with plenty of room for our 40' RV. The owners and staff are fantastic. Pizza and wings on site. Recreation area with a pool, corn hole and volleyball and a basketball hoop. No sewer hook ups but they do have a honey wagon and a dump station. Perfect for a getaway and in a great location for canoeing and Amish country. We highly recommend this campground!!

We always enjoy our stay here. Very charming, great staff and all the amenities and family friendly weekend activities you could ask for. A little tight for bigger units, but we had no trouble getting in, around or out of the park with our 40' RV. Everything is clean. It is a little dates but that is part of it's charm, a good old fashioned like campground. All hook ups worked fine. WiFi can be slow when the park is full but usable. Most parks have WiFi issues since campers tend to abusive that privilege. We highly recommend this campground.
