LeLynn R.V. Resort, Polk City, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects monthly stay. This park has LOADS of potential. Clean it up, fix up the sites, update the infrastructure and this place is a gold mine. Location is perfect for central Florida activities. Lots of seasonal/long term folks who come back year after year. Sites are close but fit our 40' fifthwheel just fine. Saw some bigger units that do take up all available space. All backins except for a handful of overnight spots. It's aging and showing it, everything worked fine but we did lose power for a couple of hours. It's not designed to handle the amount of 50amp rigs now occupying most of the sites. Most of the folks are super nice but some are a little cranky. It is a pet friendly park but some of the neighbors are NOT pet friendly. No WiFi and no cable, but that's not an issue for us. We rarely watch tv and provide our own data for internet. I would stay here again when in the area. We camped at LeLynn R.V. Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Cape Hatteras KOA, Rodanthe, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground with views of the bay and just steps to the beach over the dunes. Grass and gravel sites many long enough to stay hooked up. No trouble navigating the park with out 40' fifth wheel. Cable works good and WiFi is ok. (Omni WiFi, I'm not a fan with previous experiences.) Very nice dog park, pool and play area for the kids. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Lazy Acres Campground, Fayetteville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was very friendly. Sandy and dirt roads. Mostly long term/seasonal sites. A handful of pull thrus. Wouldn't be my first choice for an overnight again, but for a longer stay it would be a nice option. A little tight for our 40' fifth wheel but doable if you pay attention. Appreciated the escort to the site as the campground is set up a little strange. Lots of trees. We camped at Lazy Acres Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Okatoma Resort & RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Overall Rating:

A little off the road in a country setting. Super friendly owners who take pride in their family oriented campground. Mostly long term/weekend guests with sites that back up to the lake. A few pull thrus available for overnight guests. No cable but OTA channels. No WiFi except at Office building. Very nice relaxing atmosphere. Cute dog park as well. We camped at Okatoma Resort & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park), Shreveport, Louisiana

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This park has easy access. A little tight for big rigs, but accessible nonetheless. The roads and sites are quite narrow and very close. We have a 40' fifthwheel and no issues navigating the Park, you just have to take care and pay attention. Long pull thrus that allowed us to stay hooked up. There was a table and chair set on the site which was nice. Staff friendly enough, but seemed a little indifferent to the guests. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground does not disappoint. Easy access for even the largest rig. Nice long gravel pull throughs. We didn't have to disconnect our 40' fifthwheel. The owners make you feel right at home and even come check to make sure you get set up alright. We don't use cable when we are in for an overnight, so I can't speak for that, but the WiFi does work very well. Whether you are staying just overnight or staying to explore the area, this is the campground you want to be in! We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a simple campground with hands down the best owners! Super friendly, cookies and dog treats upon arrival! Easy to find and easy to navigate with plenty of room to maneuver our 40' fifth wheel and dually. I wish we would have stayed for a few more days as this is a hidden gem. Long, level gravel pull thru sites. Everything worked well and we had no issues whatsoever other than our stay was too short! They also have a meal service providing a fantastic turkey dinner delivered right to our camper! We will most certainly be back!! We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Moab KOA, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large park in a great location. Easy to find and easy to navigate with even the biggest rigs. We had no trouble navigating with our 40' fifth wheel and dually. The campground is all dirt/gravel. Some sites are shaded and others in the newer section are all sun but have new tree plantings. Mostly pull through. Bathhouses are old but very clean. They have a small pool and a new much larger pool being built. There is no laundry at the moment, but a new one is being built by the new pool. Staff is friendly and very helpful. All amenities work well with cable and wifi being very good particularly considering the size of the park. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The is a nice park near Mesa Verde National Forest. A great choice in the area. With the exception of a tight spot near the entrance, the rest of the park is ok. Our pull thru site was plenty long enough for our 40' fifth wheel and dually with room to spare. Sites are gravel and are level. We really enjoyed our stay. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good option in the area and easily accessible. We stayed at the urging of friends who have stayed previously prior to the expansion. The new section is great for big rigs. Perfect for our 40' fifth wheel. Nice long pull thrus. All the amenities worked just fine. Dog park is in The mobile home section of the park. It's a small park but was just fine for our two small fur babies. The staff wasn't overly friendly, in fact was just happy to take our money. We are not likely to visit that area again, however, as far as RV parks go, it's a good choice. We camped at Town & Country RV and Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The is a great choice and a popular overnight option for those traveling. The campground is clean and well laid out, accessible with even the biggest rigs. Easy access from and to the highway.
