Timberland Acres RV Park, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The folks there were very friendly and helpful with information in the area. One lady was the best! I even got a 20% discount for being a veteran. I thank them/her for that. I recommend this park. We camped at Timberland Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Liberty Harbor RV Park, Jersey City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

The location of this park is great. Once you walk 5 blocks or so to the subway, you can be in New York in 30 minutes. The staff at the park was very friendly and accommodating with info and some office services. Very nice people. In this park you are stacked on one another and on black gravel, which could get hot in the summer. The laundry room and prices were good, and the showers and bathrooms were clean. The price to stay here was pretty steep, but it's the only game in town that's close to the Big Apple. I based my rating on the total of the experiences at this park, the proximity to NY, and the high park fee. We camped at Liberty Harbor RV Park in a Motorhome.

Seaport RV Resort, Old Mystic, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Don't know how some folks rate and give a high number to this park! It is way over priced, and we had Passport America! One night allowed only with PA and they have a clever way of calculating the discount!! There are no sewer hookups, the power was adequate at 30 amps, and the site was big with grass.. The roads in and out and all around the park are dirt. Keeping the speed down is a must. The folks at the park were polite.. My rating was based more on price and value. We camped at Seaport RV Resort in a Motorhome.
