Prince of Tucson RV Park, Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for a couple days while checking out some of the sites around Tucson. The staff was friendly and helpful (except the late night clerk when we checked in). The bathrooms were very clean as was the park in general. The location is just off the freeway which is a blessing and a curse. There is the constant noise of the traffic, but the worse part is the trains. Every hour day and night a freight train cruises by on the other side of the freeway and blasts the horn as it goes through an intersection. However if you have played hard during the day, then you can sleep right through it. We would stay here again. We camped at Prince of Tucson RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Topspot RV Park at La Mirada Inn (formerly La Mirada RV Park), Belen, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

While this isn't the nicest RV Park we have stayed in, it has a great view, restaurants within walking distance and I believe the only RV Park in Belen. Not a bad place to stay at all, just not the nicest. We camped at Topspot RV Park at La Mirada Inn (formerly La Mirada RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

While this campground is quite aways outside Carlsbad, the wrong direction from Carlsbad Caverns, it is well worth the drive to stay there. Big, wide open sites. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean bathrooms. What more could you ask for? We highly recommend staying here. We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Travel Trailer.
