A real gem of a find here. All sites clean, level pull throughs. Nicely run on a working ranch. Located about 10 miles east of Hwy 395. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ruins Road RV Park & Campground, Aztec, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Just a few sites for drop ins, mostly long term residents. Owner didn't know what sites where available, said " drive around and take whatever you want". No map or plan. OK for quick over-nite if needed. Fantastic ruins are just down the road a short walk. We camped at Ruins Road RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Morefield Campground (NPS), Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place. There are lots of trees and shrubs and lots of deer in morning too. Showers and Laundry are in central location next to registration building. Must have been 12 - 15 separate showers, but didn't count. Pancake breakfast was not bad. We camped at Morefield Campground (NPS) in a Motorhome.

Desert View RV Resort, Needles, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely well run and well maintained. Very nice folks. Large hedge between each site. Pool and showers very clean. All sites seemed to be pull-through, but I'm not sure about that. We stayed here twice on our tour of the southwest and on our way in and out of California. Out of all the RV parks we stayed at this was in my opinion the best . We camped at Desert View RV Resort in a Motorhome.
