Woodsmoke Family Campground, Irmo, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night while traveling. We have a 36ft 5th and had no problem in or out. The site was a very long pull thru. A little un level but doable. The roads are narrow but had no problems. A lot of tree cover, so no satellite. Wifi was good. People were friendly and easy to work with. We camped at Woodsmoke Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Pecan Park RV Resort, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Large spacious pull thru sties. Well manicured grass area. Wide interior roads. Only small downside is the park is right below an approach to one of the JAX runways. The planes were all landing, so noise was not bad. I would defiantly recommend this park. We camped at Pecan Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park, Mosca, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The views from the site are beautiful. It is right by the entrance of the Great Sand Dune NP. This is an older park and it shows. The sites are close together. The interior roads are gravel and very rough. The staff is friendly and helpful. Electric is good but water pressure is poor. There is no WiFi or Cable but Verizon is good and we had no problem with satellite. We camped at Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Haggard's RV Campground, Pueblo West, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Wide sites, extremely friendly owners. Wifi good, Verizon Cell and internet service good, satellite access excellent. We were out sightseeing, when the owner called us that there was a storm warning. That kind of service we have never seen in our 5 years of full timing. We camped at Haggard's RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Deerwood Inn Madison Campground, Madison, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The site pad is narrow. I did not unhitch. If I did not park the rear wheels of the truck on the pad I could not get the rig level. Wifi is barely usable. Sewer backed up. The person who checked us in seemed to be in a hurry and I thought was rude. It may be OK for an overnight stay, but that is it. We camped at Deerwood Inn Madison Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Blackwater River State Park , Holt, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I cannot say enough how beautiful this park is. Wide sites, full hookups, clean rest rooms, friendly people. Verizon cell and data is good. No WiFi or cable. Satellite is a challenge, but there are a number of OTA channels. We have never seen a state park this nice. We camped at Blackwater River State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Three Oaks and a Pine, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Wide and level sites. Excellent utilities. Cable available but we used our satellite. Good fast WiFi. All sites are easy back in. If you want to take public transportation into downtown, it is right across the street. It is not the most beautiful park but is excellent for an urban setting. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi In The Smokies, Cherokee, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $51.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting, adequate space for our 36ft 5th. Long winding paved road to campsite. Friendly staff. No Cell service. Not the fault of the campsite. Good cable. Satellite not an option because of trees.

My main problem was lack of WiFi. Being full timers we depend on internet. When the park was empty, WiFi was horrible. When the park was full it was non existent. We camped at Yogi In The Smokies in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful open campground, lots of trees. All RV sites are pull trough. Lots of space between sites. Full hookups, only 30 amp. Lots of trails for hiking. No Wifi, cell service is excellent. We love this park. Only downside is because of the trees. satellite service is extremely hard to get. We camped at Wildwood State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Summit Hill Campground, Washington, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The park is open and spacious. It is old and needs major upgrade. The 30 amp service we had was suffering from low voltage. We were supposed to get a full hookup. The only full hookup was in a difficult back in. They offered us a electric/water site and they would dump us when we needed because we paid for full hookup. When we asked to be dumped there were always an excuse. They did dump, but it left us with a bad taste. Most of the park is for seasonal. On the way out we had to use the dump station although we paid for full hookup. We camped at Summit Hill Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is on a steep winding road. When going to the campground do not depend on your GPS. It could take you on some extremely steep, winding, narrow roads.

Hilltop Campground, Robbinston, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Nice open campground with beautiful views of the area. Large pull-through sites. Friendly staff. My main problem was the site was not level. When we setup there was a 2 ft drop off, from our last step out the door to the ground. Even the extra bench we use was not enough. Getting in and out of the coach was a problem. All of the sites had the same problem. We camped at Hilltop Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
