YOU MUST PAY IN CASH and it doesn't say it anywhere. Plan ahead. We stopped here for an overnight with our travel trailer in mid-May. The pool was closed yet which was a disappointment because it was a hot, steamy day. The transient RV spots are laid out a little differently, in that, there are long rows of seven sites in a row. The office tries to place you in a row where people are leaving at the same time you are. It was really not a problem with leaving if you let the office know. Most sites have some shade and all have a picnic table. They have some animals as part of the "farm" that were nice to see. The grounds were well-kept and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our overnight here very much. We would come back again.

The park has been improved greatly since our stay here. The owner has made nice improvements to the property. There is only one bathroom and one shower for the transient RVers, but we didn't have a problem. We have stayed here before in our 35' travel trailer and would stay here again.

The roads in and out are narrow, but doable. The site was level and shady. It was a great pass-through park. 90% of the park are full-time residents, but it was very quiet and peaceful. People were friendly. We stayed here in our 35' travel trailer and did not have to unhook. We would come back again.

This campground pays close attention to detail. All the sites are pull-through and level. There is nice green space between each site. The grounds and bathroom facilities are well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed here to visit Mammoth Cave and it was very convenient. The fenced-in dog area is large and grassy. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here in our 35' travel trailer and would definitely return. We would have given it a 10, but the Wifi was weak.

Sites are huge and far apart. Next year all sites will have full hookups. Great trails and the natural springs are awesome! Rangers are helpful and friendly. Good roads to bike on. We are coming back again for a longer period of time. Bathrooms and showers are clean and we'll kept. Lots of wildlife and peaceful. Absolutely loved it!

We stayed here overnight and would stay again for a longer time. The restrooms and showers were clean and the sites were great! The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the RV park for an overnight in July with our 30' travel trailer. It was easy to find and very nice. Yes, the park has back-to-back sites, but the park was pretty empty so everyone basically took a whole/double drive-thru site. Each site was paved, had a picnic table, grass and shade trees. It was a pleasant surprise! We would stay here again.

We spent 3 nights here in a travel trailer. The campground host was very friendly and the grounds were very well kept. The bathroom facilities were clean. We love staying here on the river side watching the boats go through the locks. It is quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife viewing. One of our favorite places.

This place would get a ten except for potholes and with rain it can get soggy at the campsites. People have complained about the water taste and smell and I did not have that experience at all!! The staff was very nice and helpful and the restrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen. Great over the air TV and didn't use my satellite.

Nice setting with lots of trees and shade. There are many seasonal/permanent campers. They expect everyone to use your own facilities, so there aren't many bathrooms or showers. The sites are somewhat tight. If you had slides on both sides you might not fit into a site. If it rained, it might be kind of messy with the gravel sites, but the sites are level. Cable and WiFi are good. Small pool. Convenient off the Interstate and quiet. We camped here for an overnight and would come back again.

We stayed here for an overnight in our 30' RV. It is close to the Interstate for easy access, but quiet. We were the only transients here, with a few permanents. There is a nice pool and the office person was friendly. The Wi-Fi was fast. The sites are grassy and shady. The bathrooms and showers were older, but clean. We would definitely stay here again.

The campground has lots of shade, but it might get muddy with rain. We spent one overnight here. The bathrooms/showers were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to find off the Interstate. Good cable. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for an overnight in our travel trailer. It was expensive at $48 with the Good Sam's discount. The place is well kept with cement everywhere except for a grass strip along each site. The cement pads are domed in the middle so it can be necessary to level your rig. There is no pool or other amenities, but there is a nice laundry and community room (storm shelter). We would stay here again if we passed through.

We stayed her for a quick overnight and found it to be better than we expected. The person who reviewed this park in July ahead of us must have been at a different park. The sites were well-kept for the most part. Bathrooms were huge and clean with more sinks and showers than we've ever seen. There is a nice hot tub, pool, and mini golf for a park that is not a destination park. The restaurant on-site has a nice menu with reasonable prices and a happy hour. The price we paid is with a Good Sam discount. The girl in the office was extremely helpful and pleasant. We would stay here again.

We stayed here 6 nights. Choose a full hookup site if you can. If you choose to be in a non-full hookup site, you can fill up with water at an empty site and there is a dump station available or again you can use an empty site. The sites are very spacious and far apart. There is lots of privacy. There is a shower house in each loop and multiple bathroom houses which includes a laundry ($1.75 wash, $1.25 dry for 80 minutes). It seems to be busy on the weekends, but is very quiet during the week. There is a beautiful beach and bike trail. They have horseback riding and a boat ramp. You have to pay $8/day to enter the park and then an additional $22-28 for camping depending on the day of the week. There is a grocery store and other services nearby. It has a beautiful setting in the foothills and convenient to get into the mountains for whatever you want to do. This is a beautiful park and we would stay here again.
