Wading Pines Camping Resort, Chatsworth, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

We had a wilderness sight that backed up to the stream. It was lovely, but small. We were happy to be there early in the season, so we didn't have neighbors. I could only imagine how cramped this area would be in the peak of the season. Lots and lots of seasonal campers. Lots and lots of stuff at most sights. Golf carts everywhere, traveling at pretty high speeds. Would return again, off season and only in a wilderness sight. We camped at Wading Pines Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Buena Vista Recreation Destination , Buena, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Tired and neglected. Looks like this could have been a great camp ground decades ago. Water slide, mini golf, lake...all of which looked forgotten. Most sites were over grown. A good deal of seasonal campers; a few of their sites were nice, but most weren't. It wouldn't be a place we I'll return to or recommend to others. We camped at Buena Vista Recreation Destination in a Travel Trailer.

Clean & friendly. Metro bus at campground allows very easy option for getting into DC. Very happy with our site. It was spacious, level, and backed to the woods. We will stay here again. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Travel Trailer.

Madison / Pittsburgh SE KOA, Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Looks like this isn't a campground, but long term residence for working at natural gas fracking sites. Sites were tight and the place didn't feel inviting at all. We camped at Madison / Pittsburgh SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for one night, the first night we bought our used trailer. Staff was super nice and gave us a helping hand when needed. Nice dog walk and restrooms were clean. We would return. We camped at Washington DC / Capitol KOA in a Motorhome.
