Anything bad that is to be said about camping here, has nothing to do with the campground. The service is nice, the pool is beautiful and the kids loved the playground. The sites were level, they are easy to get into and the hookups were great. However, there is NO Wi-Fi. If coming from Canada, there is no cell service either. Bring what you can with you, because there is very limited and sketchy shopping, especially if you are foolish enough to venture into Browning. It is WINDY. You will not be able to put up your awning. All in all though, very nice but certainly they have their challenges in this area.

This place is just okay and it's the best place to stay in Drumheller, so that should prepare you. First off, you do not book a site based on a map and length of your vehicle, you tell them the length and then they try to pack in as many units as they can. You should be able to park your vehicle in front of your trailer and not be out on the road. All campers know this, but here you can not always do so. So the road is filled with vehicles parked sideways or sticking out and this is not good for anyone trying to move around the grounds. We camped in the trees. If you do not have a reservation in the treed areas, then cancel and book somewhere else. The pool is nice, the kids liked it at least. The staff was very present, always around in their golf carts, so that was nice to see. The kids also enjoyed the playground although it is kind of isolated from the sites. All in all, not worth the money considering what you can get for less elsewhere.

This is a great park very close to Calgary. It has full service sites which are easy to get into, so great place to start off learning how to park your unit. Some of the full service sites claim to have cable TV, but you get about 3 channels. There is Wi-Fi, but for a fee only, so we have not tried it. There is a very shallow wading pool for small children only, our kids tried it when they were 8 and 9 and found it to be too shallow for their needs. There are also hot tubs which have been out of order for a few years now, with what seems to be no plans to have them working again. All in all though we love this park and camp here very often - it is clean and well cared for and the staff are very friendly.

The hot springs pools are an additional fee when using the RV Park - and for a family of 4 you will spend as much on a day pass to the pools as you spend for one of their deluxe sites. Having stayed here twice now, I would not stay again unless we have a deluxe site booked. The standard sites are extremely crowded and not very nice considering how little you save compared to the deluxe sites. The wireless internet is free, but it's not very good, so we used our cellular service when here - the cable TV was great though.
