Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

It was overpriced, as are most California parks. The roads in our section were terrible and the speed bumps unnecessary, the holes in the roads were adequate to serve that purpose. Quite a few trashy sites with long term residents. The park has good access to highways so you can get on your way quickly. Our site was ok, gravel, level and utilities easy to access. The new side of the park look quite nice. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Lakes RV & Golf Resort, Chowchilla, California

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Beautifully Park. Many sites are too short to park car. We had to move to a pullthru site and pay an additional fee. We camped at The Lakes RV & Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Golf is "kinda" included in your rental fee. The fee is waived, but you have to pay for the cart. The course at the RV Park is championship length and was in OK shape. You can also play Madera Golf Course for free. It was in better shape and only a few miles away. We played every day so this is a great deal for us.

Portland-Woodburn RV Park, Woodburn, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient RV park right off of I-5. Good location to outlet mall, fast food, Wal-Mart and other shops. Other than the Wi-Fi being hit-or-miss, all was fine. We camped at Portland-Woodburn RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's a busy park in the summer. Make your reservation early, especially if you'll be staying over a weekend.

McArthur's Temple View RV Resort, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure of the nightly rate, we stayed for a month for $450 plus electric (no tax on monthly stay). This a good park, with all the basics you need and in a good location in the middle of St. George. Internet speed was very fast. If you like activities, St. George is hard to beat. Get the Dixie Direct Card for much reduced golf for about 10 nice golf courses in the area. There are low cost organized tennis clinics daily at Tonaquint Park. Paved bike trails along the Virgin River and Snow Canyon. Great hiking in Show Canyon. Check out the plays at the outdoor Tuacahn theater. This is one of our favorite stops. Oh, don't forget to spend at least a day in Zion National Park, about an hours drive. We camped at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

River's Edge at Deer Park, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This is an average park, nothing fancy. The sites aren't quite level and a bit rocky. It's a good location as it's centralized between Heber City, Park City, Wasatch State Park and Jordanelle Lake. One problem I have is that the park's sewer drains are about 18 inches above the ground. This requires lifting and draining your sewer hose many times to empty your tanks. We camped at River's Edge at Deer Park in a Motorhome.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice park for a stop along the interstate. After driving around the area I wish we would have booked 3-4 days. It appears that there are some nice hiking areas and golf courses in the area. The Snake River is dammed nearby making a nice lake. The little cities in the area deserved more exploration time. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park, but is overpriced for the market. The McCall Muni Golf Course is a great facility. You can play nine holes on the weekends for $10 after 5pm. Jug Mountain Ranch is also a good golf deal for seniors after 3pm with a $31 rate. Jug Mountain Ranch also has a great restaurant. Downtown McCall has many great restaurants along the lake front. All kinds of kayaking, float trips and mountain biking in the area. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent Park. The Clarkston/Lewiston area is a great stay. The Snake River is in your frontyard and there is a great biking/walking trail that goes for many miles along the river front. In the the summer you can pick gallons of fresh blackberrys that grow wild along the rivers. Plan a couple day trips up to Pullman, Washington and/or Joseph, Oregon. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Hi Valley RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park and great location. Sites are a bit narrow, but not a problem. Hi Valley is close to all the fun activities we enjoyed in Boise (e.g., Outdoor theater Eagle Pavilion, numerous excellent golf course, bike trails along the Boise river, restaurants in Hyde Park area and downtown, etc.) We camped at Hi Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Excellent and nicely designed park. We decided to stay in Boise due to activities on that side of the metro area, and Ambassador was very nice about refunding our extended stay. Conveniently located by the interstate. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Horn Rapids RV Resort, Richland, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice RV park for an unbelievably low monthly rate. This park is only a couple miles out of Richland and easily accessible to everything. The tri-cities area is great for golf, biking and has an excellent athletic club. Check out Columbia Basin Racquet Club if you're going to be in Richland for a month or more. Also, the wineries are great places to visit, eat and wine taste. The paved bike trail along the Columbia River is a great ride. We camped at Horn Rapids RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Scandia RV & Mobile Park, Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is an ok park, but not great. It is in a good location, although the heavy traffic on business 97 makes it difficult to get in and out of the park. We did have a bike stolen the first night we were here. Make sure you lock up everything. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent park/resort. Great facilities and everyone was helpful and polite. We didn't find much to do in Red Bluff. The golf course is poor and bike trails limited. We did drive to Chico, CA, where there was plenty to do. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rancho California RV Resort, Aguanga, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is quite the upscale RV park. It had more of a housing subdivision feel than an RV park. Most sites have been sold and substantially improved. We rented from a private owner that was a friend of a friend. Normally the cost is $55 per night. Everyone seems to ignore the California DOT law that says you can't take a 40' plus RV on the road to this RV park. With some trepidation we did also and didn't have a problem. We camped at Rancho California RV Resort in a Motorhome.
