South Shore RV Park, Sodus Point, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Rude people run the park. We paid for a "premium" site. It was fairly small and did not have a picnic table or fire pit. We asked for both, and got a table, but were told we could not have a fire pit because of the hay on the grass seed. There was gravel on the site (no concrete pad, despite being a premium site) and mounds of dirt behind us. It does not have cable TV despite what others may have written. They've installed cable outlets with the new electric boxes but no cable is available. No store, rundown office building, and the co-manager barks at people while "helping" them back in their site. By far, the worst campground we've ever been to. We camped at South Shore RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of our favorites. It has a good location and is clean. There are friendly people. It also has a store, laundry, and arcade. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Travel Trailer.
