10++ campground as our families have been camping here since 1972 from tents to motorhomes. All have been great with unforgettable and amazing memories. The campground workers are great with frequent visits from the state park police making rounds. Great hiking trails, clean lake with good swimming. All around a hidden treasure. We camped at Salt Fork State Park in a Motorhome.

Crescent City / Redwoods KOA, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is amazing. The best campground in town. All the other campgrounds are parking lots and run down. Beautifully wooded with redwoods, grassy and fairly level sights. We stayed here 25 years ago at this same park. Kid and dog friendly. They have a fenced in "off leash" dog area. Perfect location in the redwoods and only a short 10 min drive to the shore. Restrooms typical KOA clean and efficient. Campground workers extremely friendly. Fire pits and wild elk sightings with huge velvet racks. A Ten+ park for sure. We camped at Crescent City / Redwoods KOA in a Motorhome.
