Riverhurst Park Campground, Olean, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has a wonderful location but has not been taken care of. The toilets are a mess. The trash dumpsters were overflowing and never emptied while we were there. They have an advertised pavilion but it is just run down and a clutter inside. The roads have not been maintained and were mostly mud due to recent rains. Not even a coat of gravel. Looking at earlier reviews we were expecting much better. There is no real office other than a house at the entrance road. We stayed here as it was the only thing in the area and it was just for three nights. If you can find another place,do so. We camped at Riverhurst Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Fancy Gap / Blue Ridge Parkway KOA, Fancy Gap, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA is a delight! Lots of space surrounded by woods and lots of trees. A very friendly staff that go out of their way to be helpful. Located far enough from the main highway to be VERY quiet. A good pool and free Bluegrass live music on the weekends. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway; its on the east side of the KOA. We are staying almost a week to enjoy the area. We camped at Fancy Gap / Blue Ridge Parkway KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Savannah South KOA, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Great access to Savannah, but the sites were small and tight. Staff was great and had all the answers to get into the city. You can get a tram into Savannah for the tours, and they bring you back at end of day. With the holiday weekend, Memorial day, traffic in and out kept the noise level high. We camped at Savannah South KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Trailer Village RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access and cash discount. Good Wi-Fi. Friendly staff, owner and his wife. The only reason I did not give this a higher rating is that the laundry was getting run down and certainly needed to be cleaned. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Geronimo RV Resort, Destin, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here to attend a beach wedding in Destin. The park was very clean and neat. Only a block from the beach. Trees are planted at each site but are quite small at this time. The drives are not paved but the rig parking is with a nice concrete patio next to your rig. No matter as the park was quiet and easy to get in and out of. We would do it again if we return to the area. We camped at Geronimo RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
