Main Street Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing but an asphalt parking lot with hook ups. Extremely close to each other. Noisy freeway with sirens going off all night. Close to the Casino, but we were only staying the night. Did the job, but won't stay here again. We camped at Main Street Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Dayton RV Park, Dayton, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Small park located behind the Casino in Dayton. We spent 5 nights visiting my sister. Sites are VERY close and parking is difficult. Only 3 OTA channels, so we paid the $50 deposited for a cable box. Over 100 channels that way. Very clean with very friendly owners. Plan to stay here again someday. We camped at Dayton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

La Vedera RV Park, Lamesa, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night on our way west. No frills park with ample room between spaces. Utilities were sufficient and centrally located. Very quiet park, but no security lights at night. We still felt safe. We will be happy to stay here again. We camped at La Vedera RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly park with a small cafe for dinner and breakfast. Good sized sites with plenty of room. Big rig friendly for sure. Unfortunately the gravel at our spot was extremely uneven and there were lots of large black ants. We will stay again when passing through. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park), Beatty, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Overnight stop on our way to Reno. Easy on and off from Hiway 95. Friendly check in staff. We came in after dark and didn't see any grass or a dog run. Several cable channels and good wifi and cell service. All in all, not a bad stop. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Death Valley Inn and RV Park (formerly Burro Inn Casino & RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Roadrunner RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Two thumbs up to Roadrunner RV Park in Oklahoma City, OK. I have always been reluctant to stay in a large city because of noise level and difficulty maneuvering into tight places. NOT SO at Roadrunner. Large concrete pads with plenty of room to maneuver through the park. Virtually no road noise and the nicest managers ever. Easy on and easy off the highway, too. Several cable channels available. So happy we discovered this place. Perfect stop between San Antonio and Northern MN. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Prairie Lake Campground & RV, Grand Rapids, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a total of 12 days while visiting friends and family. Such a beautiful, quiet and friendly campground. Lots of activities from boating, swimming, fishing and campfires to just plain relaxing and visiting with the friendly seasonal campers. Can't wait to stay again next year. We camped at Prairie Lake Campground & RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Valley RV Park , Guthrie, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Once again we were so happy to stay at Cedar Valley. We always call ahead and reserve a spot as we are traveling through Oklahoma. This RV park is about 6 miles off of I35, but is quiet, safe and extremely clean. Nothing negative to say. We are very pleased and will stay here every chance we get. We camped at Cedar Valley RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ancient Oaks RV Park & Campground, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This park is not too bad if you're not expecting a resort. As others have said, there are a lot of permanent residents, but we found them to be friendly, as were the park staff. I was a little disappointed that the fishing pond has seen better days and decided not to waste my time dropping in a line. The recreation room, store, and pool were also neat, but average. Over all, we will stay here again when visiting the area. We camped at Ancient Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

North Shore Park, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park for a week and loved it. The sites have a rearward slope, but not too bad. They have a nice fishing pier and boat ramp within walking distance. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. The town of Bastrop is about 6 miles away and has a Walmart and lots of great places to eat. We found it to be a very quiet park on the week days and not too bad on the weekend. The only problem we had was being awakened in the morning by buzzards walking on the roof (LOL). When I opened the door they all flew away. Reserving on-line was quick and easy. They do have an extra fee per day, but give discounts for seniors and military. It's listed on the website. We can't wait to stay there again. We camped at North Shore Park in a Travel Trailer.

North Shore Park, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Another great LCRA campground. Although this park is smaller than the South Shore, we found it to suit us just fine. Be aware that all of the sites have a rearward slope to them, but not too bad. We stayed from Sun-Thurs and had the place pretty much to ourselves. This was the week before July 4th. We plan to use this park on a regular basis when we're not out of state. We camped at North Shore Park in a Travel Trailer.

South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop, Bastrop, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

What a great campground. Made the reservations on line because we heard that it fills up fast and we were glad we did. Our spot was close enough to the lake, that it was only a few steps to drop the fishing line in. The space between sites is awesome and you almost feel alone. We stayed during the middle of the week, so don't know how busy it is on the weekend, but we may find out later this fall. Looking forward to that! We camped at South Shore Park on Lake Bastrop in a Travel Trailer.
