The beauty of this park is the location. It's up the canyon on the east side of the Sandia Mountains, so it's much cooler than ABQ. The tent camping is within the Pinion pine, and makes for a nice, rustic and private setting. The owner was okay, but very business like. She needs to plant some appropriate trees within the RV sites. Most of the Cottonwoods are dying. Wrong tree species in the wrong place. Bathrooms are clean and useful. But because of water restrictions the shower is only six minutes, via a token.

Wow, what a beautiful setting! The park is actually 3.5 miles up a paved road off highway 160. The $44/night was the cost for being located next to small stream plus taxes, but it was sure worth it. We only stayed for three nights, but this is an RV park where we now want to stay a month! Lots of trees. The owners have cared enough to plant some Aspen in logical places. Owners and hosts were great, and the pool sure looked inviting. We had just driven from an RV park east of ABQ that was only $24/night but bare bones.
