McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for a week in order to enjoy the mountains and forests of this area of Idaho. Park is exceptionally clean and well manicured, sites are large with lots of grass a concrete patio with nice table with benches and gravel pad, all in very good condition[. We had a long roomy pull thru. Park is uniquely laid out with 3 tiers, we were on the upper tier so Park does not appear to be large and therefore not very busy. There are also lots of trees on the property and the surrounding properties so there is a feeling of being away from the rest of the world. Staff we encountered were all friendly. Would have given them a 10 except for loud airplane sounds in AM from nearby airport. Price may be little high but you get lots of value. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Old, rustic Park approx. 22 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park. You have to be led to many of the pull through sites by the staff since they back up to other sites, but not a problem. Roads and sites are gravel and well used. Staff is friendly and all services work well except cell phone and internet which for us were only available at the office and we were very close to it. Lots of permanent residents but quiet. We stayed a week and would return. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

River Dance RV Resort, Gypsum, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Great over night Park, but no sewer since you are right on the Colorado River. Very rustic, between two mountains, right off I-70 but no noticeable road noise. All services worked well. Roads and spaces a little tight but maneuverable. We would return. We camped at River Dance RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort, Troutdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept park, concrete pads, small grass area with picnic bench. Good room for parking pickups, minimum space between sites. No designated pet area but large open area close by can be used. Its in a very busy area east of Portland and at Columbia Gorge Scenic Area doorstep so reservations needed, seemed like most sites taken by long term people. Would stay again. We camped at Sandy Riverfront RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park with gravel pads and concrete patios. There are lots of trees, well manicured, and clean. There is minimum space between sites but OK. Near I-5 but no noise. Friendly staff. Close to all shopping. Great mountainous area all around and the awesome Lassen Volcanic NP to east. Would stay again. We camped at Red Bluff RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

River Reflections RV Park & Campground, Oroville, California

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Park with good sized sites and lots of trees. Had a back-in site with good view of Feather River. Very good birding. Friendly staff. Close to SR 70, but minimal road noise. Laundry facility is in a little rusty building with only two rusty washers. We obviously did not use them. Would stay again. We camped at River Reflections RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Club Royal Oak RV Resort, Kingsburg, California

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for a month, had to pay in advance (my fault) won't do that again. Way over priced for the place and site, very narrow pull through. They had some nice wide sites but for some reason, not available when my reservation was made. Management very unfriendly. Some staff friendly. A large part of the park was not in use. Storage area right next to sites making views undesirable. Laundry sub standard. River is a joke, obviously little water for a long time, NO way to launch a boat, gas dock out of water! One bright spot, lots of birds, place is in middle of orchards. Would NOT stay there again even if free. We camped at Club Royal Oak RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
