Sandpiper RV Resort

Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay:

Sandpiper is a Great RV Resort. The staff was helpful when asked about local information. We stayed over the Easter weekend so the $$ was a little higher for those 3 days. Perfect access to Stewart Beach. Even though the beach was very busy over the holiday - did not seem to notice the traffic or noise in the resort. Pool area is a really nice asset. For us security was not a concern. I love Galveston and now Sandpiper Resort will be our place to stay when we vacation there. Highly recommend!

Date of Stay:

Staff provided superb customer service. A very unique facility. The pool was the main attraction, with beautiful views of the mountains. Concessions were very good, observed many customers who came just for the wide variety of food being offered. With the number of patrons at the pool the restrooms were surprisingly clean and well maintained. Campsites were level and located within walking distance to the pool facility. Only suggestion would be for a separate restroom facility, as the restrooms are closed when the pool is closed. Will definitely stay they again when we are vacationing in the area.

Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay:

Staff was excellent. They were very helpful with directions both to the RV Park and to our destinations in the Wichita area. Staff assisted us with parking. Restroom and showers were spotless. As this was a holiday weekend and our reservations were made a couple of days earlier, we were parked in the overflow area. Not a problem. Site was very quiet, safe, and easily accessible. Appeared that there were many long term occupants, but the sites were all neatly kept. Very convenient to Wichita area. I would recommend this RV park - but would suggest making reservations as far ahead as possible.
