Montrose / Black Canyon Nat'l Park KOA , Montrose, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park to stay in while in the area. The office staff was very friendly and quick. We had a pull-through with a shade tree and a large grassy area my little dog loved. The 50amp, cable and water all worked with no issues. The pool area was very nice but being summer a little crowded as expected. The dog area could use a little work as it was no more than some gravel next to a ditch. An excellent stay overall. We camped at Montrose / Black Canyon Nat'l Park KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, the staff was super friendly and guided us to our site. Offered to help us set up as my wife had a broken leg. The site was level plently of room for our two slideouts. All the hookups worked fine. Our little dog loved the grass. We wished we could have stayed longer. We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Colorado Springs KOA, Fountain, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two nights. We have been here at least one or two nights a year the past five years but the parks is going down hill every year. The weeds were everywhere in the sites and they were very unlevel. Other than the dirt and weeds no place to really take our dog. Not really worth the money. We will try staying in Colorado Springs next time. We camped at Colorado Springs KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Flagstaff KOA, Flagstaff, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in May. Very clean, staff very friendly. All the utilities worked well. Getting through the park was no problem, but the sites are so close together we had to move the table in order to open our rig's door. Impossible to level the sites are so eroded that leveling wont happen. We were about 7 feet from the next rigs on both sides. The most cramped we've ever been. For one night I would maybe stay here again. We camped at Flagstaff KOA in a Travel Trailer.
