Date of Stay:

3 parking spots behind the Best Western. Okay for overnight stay. Water and 30 Amp (no 50). Walk to restaurants . You can use the pool and other facilities. Complimentary breakfast. All utilities will be at the rear. If parking lot is empty, no problem backing in. They do not accept reservations, so call ahead.

Date of Stay:

Camped 3 nights while visiting son stationed at Fort Polk. Easy to get to. Seems designed mostly for extended stay. There is no office, and we never met any staff. After we left, we called and asked for the mailing address to send payment. I believe they have Wi-Fi, but I never met anyone to get access. There is a building with washers/dryers, and restrooms. Restrooms were undergoing some work, so not the cleanest. Overall not a bad experience, but different than most parks.

Date of Stay:

Stayed two nights as a shakedown for a new RV. This park is excellent! Staff said it has won the "Best RV Park in Texas" award twice. Not at all crowded, many sites with shade, although most sites by the water do not have shade. Convenience store open until 7 p.m. weekdays, longer on weekends. Staff very friendly. Definitely will come again.
