Shoddy treatment! We booked an RV site for my wife and I and a tent site for our son. Weeks ago. When we arrived and checked in we were told that two days of our son's tent site had been given away to a large group. We had not been notified in advance and they would not do any thing about the fact he had no place to stay. Finally at a higher day rate they let him stay amongst the van and slide in camper area. The park is well maintained and close to Arches but you can bet after the amateur treatment our yearly trip to Moab will not be here!

The sites were long pull throughs but close together. We could not extend our awning if the next site was occupied. The pool and hot tub were not usable. The WiFi was too slow to bother with. We were warned by park personnel to use the pet enclosure twice when we were just exercising our dog. There are "no pet" signs everywhere.

Campground is close to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, only about 3 miles away. It has a fishing pond and fair size playground also a miniature golf course. The laundry facilities are well kept and nice. Some of the sites are on the small side and quite crowded, the WIFI is free but very spotty and slow. We felt the park is overpriced for what it offered, $5.00 charge for each of our grandchildren per day and a $1.00 a day charge for our dog. After making reservations two months in advance we were put in a site adjacent to the power and phone boxes where our triple slide 38 foot Motorhome barley fit and left almost no room for our toad. If you camp here don't let them stick you in site 56 unless you have a small class C and are not pulling a toad.

Excellent park, surrounded by BLM land. Staff very heplful and friendly. Ideal location for people with mountain bikes, jeeps and ATV's. Roads and sites are fine gravel which are watered daily. Cafeteria and 4 room motel on site. Trash pickup 5 days per week. The sites are extremely large with many pull throughs. Park is attractively landscaped with desert plants.
