Moab Valley RV Resort , Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Shoddy treatment! We booked an RV site for my wife and I and a tent site for our son. Weeks ago. When we arrived and checked in we were told that two days of our son's tent site had been given away to a large group. We had not been notified in advance and they would not do any thing about the fact he had no place to stay. Finally at a higher day rate they let him stay amongst the van and slide in camper area. The park is well maintained and close to Arches but you can bet after the amateur treatment our yearly trip to Moab will not be here! We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Moab is a cute tourist town but it's main asset is two of the most fantastic National Parks it the system. Arches and Canyon Lands are not to be missed!

Monument RV Resort, Fruita, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were long pull throughs but close together. We could not extend our awning if the next site was occupied. The pool and hot tub were not usable. The WiFi was too slow to bother with. We were warned by park personnel to use the pet enclosure twice when we were just exercising our dog. There are "no pet" signs everywhere. We camped at Monument RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Spruce Lake RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is close to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, only about 3 miles away. It has a fishing pond and fair size playground also a miniature golf course. The laundry facilities are well kept and nice. Some of the sites are on the small side and quite crowded, the WIFI is free but very spotty and slow. We felt the park is overpriced for what it offered, $5.00 charge for each of our grandchildren per day and a $1.00 a day charge for our dog. After making reservations two months in advance we were put in a site adjacent to the power and phone boxes where our triple slide 38 foot Motorhome barley fit and left almost no room for our toad. If you camp here don't let them stick you in site 56 unless you have a small class C and are not pulling a toad. We camped at Spruce Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
