The owner is very friendly and helpful. The sites are a little rough in the landscaping end of things. Easy to get into and the naturalness of them keep it more private between sites. This is not an RV Resort so you can't expect too much. I have stayed here in the past and will do again when in the area.

Pleasantly surprised. Host was very pleasant, we knew her life history in the first 5 minutes talking to her. Very well kept grounds, gravel site but nice green area behind sites.

Certainly felt like a minority, park seems to cater to European's in rentals. This was no problem, I enjoy meeting people but sometimes these visitors tend to keep to themselves. Hosts are very friendly, washrooms were clean but could use some updating. Had to pick the right spot on the site to find level or as close to level as possible. I would return here if I was in this area again.

Way overpriced for what you get. Very small sites. Host was very friendly when she finally showed up to take money, but as she said "This is a volunteer position."

I have similarly reviewed this park in the past, the office staff is even worse now than it was 4 years ago. They really don't care about customer complaints, sites are often double booked. Long term stay(1 month) is supposed to get preference over shorter stays. I book 1 year in advance and still I am expected to stay in one site until the people in my preferred site have moved on after staying for 2 or 3 nights. Why aren't these short stays put into the site that I had to occupy for the same 2 or 3 nights so I can go straight into the site I booked for 1 month. The pool is supposed to be open from the beginning of Sep. till the end of June. We were given 3 different excuses as to why it was not open when we arrived on Sep.9. At least if they are going to lie, they should get together and tell the same lie. Apparently they used the same stories back in June when friends were here. They are the only game in town so they can get away with whatever they want. I hate to admit it but I will likely be back next year unless I can find somewhere else close. If the facilities were managed and maintained better, this could be a very nice park.

Very clean and friendly park. New washrooms since the last time we were here. Park can be a little crowded when full as it was Labour Day weekend but still enough room to put out slides and awnings. All sites are grassed and some with large shade trees. Mostly only 15 amp service but for me that is plenty. Host was very nice and was always busy cutting grass or cleaning areas after sites were empty and before new campers arrived. We camped in a 35' rig and certainly would come back again.

We have stayed here many times in the past and will stay here again, but as the years have passed I find that the park is starting to get a run down look. The grounds are nowhere near as nice as the first time we were here 8 years ago. The price for a site has not gone up a great deal but you get less for your money now. It is like an ala carte menu- $5/day for pets, $5/day for Wi-Fi (I have never found TengoInternet that great), and pay showers. The pool, hot tub, and laundry facilities are all nice. It was kind of early to swim in the lake although the dog didn't mind. The new section has no shade or divides between sites and maintenance should pull the weeds before they go to seed and make it worse. All in all, we do like the park as a whole but the maintenance has gone down. It is also an excellent base to do your wine tours and stock up on the local area wines.

A little farther out of Spokane than I would have liked, but the welcome was great. Small park, but very accessible, even for larger rigs. Excellent pet area. Bathrooms looked clean, but we did not use them. Hookups well located. I would stay here again.

Beautiful setting, the park has been cleaned up and much improved since it's days as a KOA. Sites are large, level and easily accessible. Huge area where dogs can be off leash. I certainly didn't expect to see a park as nice as this in such an out of the way place as St. Regis. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. You can get books from the huge library in the office, also rent DVD's. I certainly would stay here again and would recommend this park to anybody passing through, either as a single night or extended period stay.

Even with the parks proximity to the freeway, it was still not any more noisy than a lot of other sites. Family that runs the park was very accommodating. Sites were a good size, level with grassed areas in between and well maintained. Laundry facilities were reasonable and functioned well. Can't comment on washrooms, since we didn't use them. There was a good fenced area to exercise the dog, would have been much better if other all users would have been courteous enough to pick up after their animals, but there are always those that don't. I would stay here again and would not be afraid to recommend the park to others.

As already mentioned, the office is a mess and stinks of cat urine. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, due to allergies from cats. Once outside things improved, grounds were clean with lots of room to walk dogs. We did not use the bathrooms so I cannot report on them. The site we chose had plenty of room and was level enough to remained hooked up to our RV for our one night stay. Price was a little high for what was offered. We would stay again if I had to but my wife would have to register; she is the cat person.

Well laid-out park. It is all gravel, sites are level, bathrooms large and clean. Host was very pleasant. Good site for touring Sturgis, Deadwood, and surrounding area. I would camp here again as long as it was not during the Bike Rally week.

The setting was very nice, campsites separated nicely as in most state parks. It was an excellent site to tour the park and surrounding areas from. One drawback is the fact that sites do not have individual sewer, not even a dump station in the park. I would have had to travel to the east side of the park or go into Custer to dump. The reservation system for Wyoming State Parks was not very good, I was assigned a site that barely fit my trailer and I had to block one side up 6" to get the trailer level. There is no reason for a site being out of level by 6" over an 8' span. Next time, if there is a next time, I would check out the sites before phoning for a reservation, and then I would have been able to tell which site I wanted. The only reason I stayed at Stockade North was when I searched the sites on the internet, it appeared to be the only one that could handle trailers the size of mine. After driving through the park, most of the other campsites in the park would have had more suitable spots for my trailer.

Very welcoming site after a long drive. Host was very friendly, site as a whole was very clean with covered tables at each site. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean, although a little old style, nicely decorated with the owner's nic-nacs. Very quiet setting. I would recommend this site.

Site was very clean and well kept grounds. Host was very helpful with his 5 minute speel about Cody and surrounding area. Washrooms were very clean, same for laundry room. Small fenced area for pets looked like an afterthought, could have been a little larger. I would certainly recommend this park to other people.
