Pumpkin Patch RV Resort, Hermon, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful modern RV park that the owners designed around big-rig sites. I definitely agree with all the other previous superlative comments. Sometimes it's the small things that make an RV park standout - like a power post that is not only modern, but has all facilities (power, water & cable) connections at a comfortable standing height. That obviously was attention to detail not chance! We recommend this park most highly. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Arm of Gold Campground & RV Park, Little Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflected a 30 amp site. There are very nice 50 amp sites overlooking the water, but were $6 more/night. The staff was wonderful. During our stay an Adventures Caravan was also here which typically indicates a consistently high level of service. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Arm of Gold Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camper's City, Moncton, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Our rate reflected a 30 amp/off peak site. We found the campground to be quite nice. Our site was somewhat unlevel, but nothing our jacks couldn't handle while keeping all wheels on the ground. Our only caution was low voltage: about 110 with just the electric water heater running. Without that running the peak our meter read was 115. We would definitely return again. We camped at Camper's City in a Motorhome.

Harrisburg East Campground, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first time at this RV park in 5 years. We were a little cautious due to other reviews about unlevel sites; however, we had no problem. The "100" row has recently been re-graded to make the sites more level. New very clean sewer dumps have also been added to that row of sites. As others have mentioned the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, but make sure we called ahead to get one of the "100" sites. We camped at Harrisburg East Campground in a Motorhome.

Avalon Landing RV Park, Milton, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice small RV park located within 1 mile of I-10, but no road noise at all. The setting is quite nice with some sites designed to pull into sites overlooking a tidal marsh area. The park will soon be opening another 20+ sites with some of them being pull throughs. It is also a Good Sam park. We definitely will stay here again. We camped at Avalon Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally, Anthony, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very good spot for traveling across I-10. As another reviewer stated, the Good Sam rating seems very harsh. One change from previous reviews - there is no cable TV. The camp host told me it was no longer active. We were able to get antenna reception of most major networks & satellite reception is very good. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Motorhome.

Agua Caliente County Park , Julian, California

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Agua Caliente is a very peaceful, desert location (except for the helicopter training) if you want to be a remote location. We had a great hike on the Moonlight Canyon Trail. But the park is easily an hour from the Anza Borrego Visitor Center and from Julian. We had absolutely no cell reception (Verizon). In order to do an on-line reservation we could not select a 50 amp site although new power pedestals were going in with 50 amp service. We found the sites quite unlevel (our front tires were off the ground) We also would recommend approaching the park from I-8 if there is a choice. especially with a bigger rig. We camped at Agua Caliente County Park in a Motorhome.

Mount Baker RV Park and Campground, Cranbrook, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This Good Sam park is okay for an overnight stop. We did not have a reservation & the hostess only had a 30 amp W/E site (we travel in a 40 ft motorhome). She was very careful to ask us to inspect the site before we committed. The site was narrow, somewhat unlevel, and required running a water hose from the washroom. We had no problem getting onto the site & cable TV & good WI-FI made up for the slight site issues. We camped at Mount Baker RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

iRVin's RV Park and Campground, Valemount, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Although we did not stay here I became quite familiar with the facility as the managers kindly let me use their immaculate laundry facility as the campground we where we were staying, did not have a laundromat. I found the park to be quite attractive with new smaller trees on the lawns between the well-spaced gravel sites. Like all the campgrounds in this town, there is very little TV reception if using an antenna; however, the wide open area does provide for good satellite reception. The managers have all the necessary satellite set-up info for Canadian as well as US systems (ie: Direct & Dish). I also noticed that this is a destination RV park for caravans which normally have very high standards. I would definitely stay at this park the next time we are in Valemount. We camped at iRVin's RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Canoe River Campground, Valemount, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

After reading the past two reviews I perhaps had my expectations set too high. The river view is nice; however, most of the sites are very rough and situated in areas that look like they have been recently forested (is clear cut). We would not stay in this park again for two particular reasons: there is no laundromat facilities at all (and there is no public laundromat in Valemount) and there is a $ 5 charge for using the dump station if you stay less than three days. We camped at Canoe River Campground in a Motorhome.

Sintich RV & Trailer Park, Prince George, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We had chosen this RV park because of its RV power wash; however, when we got here it was turned off for the season. There are new owners & I'm not sure if they understand the importance of that feature for those coming out of Alaska & northern BC. I also am not sure why the price would be significantly higher than during the summer months. We would probably stay here again as there are no other choices this close to downtown Prince George. We camped at Sintich RV & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground, Telkwa, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

After coming out of Alaska the use of a free RV power wash is an absolute plus. As mentioned before the owners are very friendly & informative. Our price reflects paying $2 extra fro 50 amp service. The WIFI is based on usage with the 1st 75 MB free & then $2.50/75 MB. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Fort Telkwa Riverfront RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Bayside RV Park, Valdez, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second trip to Valdez. On our previous trip we stayed at another larger RV park; however, we have found Bayside to be a terrific park as we look right out our front windshield across a tidal bay to mountains filled with glaciers. To respond to a previous review, yes, the sites are close together, but no more so than any other RV park in the area. We did not use the park's WIFI as we use our own Verizon MIFI card. With the extended roaming network we had very good reception. The staff is terrific. We would definitely chose this RV park on another visit. We camped at Bayside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort, Teslin, Yukon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is our 2nd stop at this campground. Our first was 6 years ago. We once again found it to be a very good Alaska Highway campground with a restaurant, wildlife gallery, and fuel pumps right on site. It is also one of the few RV parks along the AK highway where you are allowed to wash your rig at your site without any extra charge. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort in a Motorhome.

Toad River Lodge & RV Park, Toad River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

As campgrounds go along the Alaskan Highway, this is a really good one. Our site fee was based on Good Sam membership. We elected one of the back-in sites which are next to the lake and good spacing between sites. It is very pretty with mountains all around. Our only caution. We used our own washer/dryer and some of the clothes got a rust-type stain. We also noticed a metallic smell when we showered. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Toad River Lodge & RV Park in a Motorhome.
