This park is conveniently located off of Exit 13 on GA400. This is our second time to stay here and we highly recommend it for an overnight stop. The office staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived on a Sunday when the office is closed and had our site paperwork waiting for us as promised. There seem to be a large number of permanent residents but all seemed very friendly. The grounds are clean and the sites are adequately large enough for big rigs.

What a pleasant surprise this campground turned out to be! It seems to be under new management. We stayed in a 43' motorhome but rented 2 "rustic" cabins for our family members. Activities were planned for the grandkids all day, lake, waterslide and beach were clean and well maintained, lots of large grassy areas for kids (and dog walking), lots of shade trees yet we had good satellite reception. Very clean public bathrooms and showers and friendly staff. Our family look forward to our next great adventure at this campground!

We loved this campground for several reasons beginning with the friendly, helpful staff. We had concerns about "small" sites but were assured that we would have plenty of room and we were given options of where we would be more comfortable. The atmosphere of this campground is fantastic with views of the water everywhere, swings overlooking the river and a beautiful park in the middle. This is a must stay if you love fishing, relaxing and being in a great location.
