Abita Springs RV Resort , Abita Springs, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Ocean Canyon/Coast to Coast so cost for us was 0 unless you count the annual fees. We made reservations a month or so in advance for two nights not knowing they would be during Spring break and the annual city wide garage sale. I honestly believe we got the last open space in the park! It was still amazingly quiet. We didn't really try the facilities, but thought the park was quite nice. Crowded and pretty packed in, but still not bad. Nice, helpful staff. We'd come back. We camped at Abita Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Millwood Landing Golf & RV Resort, Ashdown, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Part of the Ocean Canyon network which includes Coast to Coast. As members of both, stay was "free" if you don't count the annual fees involved w/ both. They'd gotten something like 4 - 5 inches of rain during the preceding days so some sites were not in the best of shape, i.e. some were under water, some muddy, etc., but overall not too bad. Nice shower and restroom facilities. Friendly, helpful staff person. We don't golf so can't really comment on that aspect of the resort, but everything looked really nice. We would stay again. We camped at Millwood Landing Golf & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Alexandria RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Small but very good RV park. Great for over night, or if staying a while in Alexandria, LA if you just want a place to stay. Pretty much what everyone else has stated: nice spacious sites some in shade, some not; gravel but nice, deep, solid gravel, not just a few handfuls thrown on the dirt; small facilities (single showers and necessaries per gender) but clean. Nice couple who have turned a piece of pasture into a going concern. Would certainly stay again if going this way. We camped at Alexandria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Treasure Lake RV Resort, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent facilities at a very spacious, well laid out park actually in Branson. Minutes from all attractions as well as Silver Dollar City. Price reflects nightly surcharge of $8 and C2C discount. This is a members park so you have to belong or have an affiliate membership to stay here.

We were here w/ family for Spring break so pretty much had the place to ourselves, but I imagine it really bustles in the Summer. Concrete, level pads w/ all hookups well placed. All in all, a well thought out true RV resort. Would definitely return. We camped at Treasure Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pony Express RV Park & Campgrounds, Maysville, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Mostly filled with long term campers who lease the sites, but a good number of sites are held open for weekenders and travelers. Clean, family run park with good size fishing lakes. We were able to change sites after the crowded weekend in order to get satellite reception with no problems. Laundry is kind of in a storage room area, but well priced and functional. Stayed 3 nights, but were only charged for 2 as they have a "3 for 2" as well as a "4 for 3" pay deal so actually our daily rate only $20. We camped at Pony Express RV Park & Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Ray Behrens COE, Monroe City, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Another great COE campground! Clean, well maintained, nicely spaced sites, not too far from Hannibal, MO. Beautiful lake and countryside. Very out of the way and quiet. Our site was open to the south so we were able to get satellite reception. We camped at Ray Behrens COE in a Motorhome.

Monroe City is the closest good size town with most amenities and antique shops in the old town part. Hannibal is the attraction with Mark Twain locations, the Mississippi and lots of shops plus all the other amenities you'd find in a small city.

Fern Lake Campground, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 6 days of Quilt Week and was well pleased w/ pretty much all aspects. Very close to all sites plus an hourly shuttle to shows and exhibits. Well maintained w/ fairly large sites (no problem w/ slides), good laundry, clean facilities. Half mile off highway and close to Pilot gas station, but really little to no traffic noise. If you're doing Paducah this is the place to stay. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Village Creek State Park, Wynne, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautifully spacious, level, wooded campsites nicely spread out w/ excellent paved interior roads. Spent three nights on the way to Paducah, KY. Have only visited two Arkansas state parks, but both have been very, very nice. Would certainly recommend and stay again. We were in a 27' C-class MH. We camped at Village Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

City of Wynne just down the road w/ all associated amenities, ie stores, restaurants, fast food, fuel, etc. Visited historic mound site a few miles away in Parkin, AR. Very interesting park w/ great interpretive center. Worth the time to visit.

Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins , Buena Vista, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Daily rate with Good Sam discount. Here for two days while checking fire situation in Woodland Park. Nice location north of Buena Vista. Nice campground, but hardly a resort. Tried to use Passport America discount, but was told 4th of July weekend started a week before the 4th (?). For rate charged, I would have expected free showers, but cost was over $1 for seven minutes. Probably wouldn't stay again just for that reason. We camped at Arrowhead Point Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Passport America discount. Nice, quiet park well off the highway so no road noise. Friendly staff, very "homey" atmosphere. Adequate showers & restrooms. Many shaded sites. Close to town of Moab without being in town. We spent two nights and would have no problems staying here again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Black Canyon RV Park and Campground, Cimarron, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

First, park is next to highway with a great deal of daytime traffic. It does decrease considerably at night. Having said that, this is a very nice campground with spaces large enough for slide outs on both sides with lots of room between. It is a bit of a tight entry access turn if you're coming from the east, but not too bad if you're expecting it. Small laundry, adequate showers & restrooms. Beautiful views. We stayed for 6 days and would definitely stay again. We camped at Black Canyon RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Sundance RV Park, Cortez, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects monthly discount. Very nice park. Spent a month here while doing the sites & parks within driving distance. Right in town so easy drives to shopping, restaurants, gas, etc. Our site (#21) had very minor traffic noise from neighborhhod during the day, practically none at night. Other side of park is next to a U-Haul/equipment rental facility, but we rarely heard any noise from it either. Can't say about the sites next to it. Great laundry, great showers, very well maintained. Best long term sites booked well in advance by annual visitors and I can understand why. Would definitely return. We camped at Sundance RV Park in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Coast to Coast GNP prepaid points discount. Nice resort with close proximity to Camping World & Freightliner repair facility being pluses. Friendly staff who held our reservation for two days while we under went repairs in Albuquerque. Unless your rig is well insulated you will hear that highway sound pretty much all the time. We were only spending the night so we didn't really have time get use to it. Would certainly use again. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.
