Cal Expo RV Park, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

One should be aware that this park has two choices a gravel parking lot or a paved parking lot. We arrived late in the day dues to poor directions on the parks web site. (should have followed my GPS). Made res for a 50 amp site but were give a 30. Had to wait to the next day to get it corrected. No tables to use for anything. Paved part where we were at has a down hill slant and reguired full extension of landing leg to level trailer. We camped at Cal Expo RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great large park. Office staff very nice considering the daily in and out of the rigs. Nice picnic table with a metal plate for a BBQ. Laundry clean with plenty of machines. Sewer connection was at the far rear of the site. When we return to the Reno area we will stay here. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Have stayed here many times but not in the last 2 years until this trip. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The park is in the best shape in a long time but the scrubs along the lake spots need to be cut much lower so the view is improved. The lake / river sites are the best and worth the extra cost. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Holiday RV Park, Phoenix, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad place to stop for a day or so or before you go over the pass to CA. The owners put the short timers in old poorly maintained sites. No room ,no grass, shared cable. Park needs alot of TLC. Would not stay there for more than 2 days. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Harmony Lakeside RV Park, Silver Creek, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park. However each site has a fire pit and the smoke will come into your rig. Only draw back is that the quiet time is 11pm and not everyone adhears to it. If you are more used to people shutting down early this might not be the park for you. Nice place for familys with children and camp fires. Nobody monitors the quiet time. We camped at Harmony Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tillamook / Bay City RV Park, Tillamook, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 4 nights. Very nice small park. Very friendly staff and owners, Close to the hwy but not a problem. Large pull through sites, level, good room between sites. Very clean park. If you are looking for a park with pools and lots of thing for kids to do, this might not be for you. Great tent sites if you are a tenting person. Reservations are a good idea. Park fills up quickly in the summer. We would stay here again. We camped at Tillamook / Bay City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Portland Fairview RV Park, Fairview, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed many times in this park, but only for 2 to 4 days. Always got a pull through site although some are tighter than others. This time we were assigned a back in site. (Yes I can back my trailer up.) However the site was under a tree that would be pushing against the back of the trailer not to mention the junk coming off the tree that when it got wet would turn into stuff like large bird droppings. I had just spent many bucks having my trailer detailed. Went back to the office and were assigned a spot next to the RRtrack. (No problem). However the site was between two of the junkiest trailers I have ever seen. Not sure we will stay here again. Apparently the management does not look out after repeat customers. We camped at Portland Fairview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca), Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived and were met by a site director person who took us to a site in the back of the park next to the dumpy old trailers. Only park we have been in a long time I felt that I must lock every thing. Very narrow sites, no landscaping. With slides out you would encroach into the other sites. Can not see how this park rates so high in a major directory. From site it was a long walk to the pool. No problem with noise. Stayed for two nights to rest up but that was enough. Site was small and the rear of my trailer was somewhat in the roadway, so I could fit my crewcab p/u in front. We camped at Winnemucca / I-80 KOA (formerly I-80 Winnemucca) in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Although we do not normally pick KOA because of the price we elected to try this one. Well worth the money. This is is one of the best parks we have been in the last 10 years. Great grassy sites outstanding pool and very nice staff. Very clean laundry room. Very quiet. We were planning to stay 2 days but stayed for 3. Nice and friendly small town people. We camped at Richfield KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived we were met by a staff member who was curt. He led us to a site behind the restaurant and laundry. There were very noisy vent fans, and we could not level our trailer even with 3 blocks. They moved us to another site under dripping sap trees and many birds. Notice other reviews are motorhomes. All good sites with sun and grass were given to class A spendy units. Trailers were sent to the back and not seen from the road. Pool was out of service. Not worth the price We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
