Mountain Falls Luxury Motorcoach Resort (Class As Only), Lake Toxaway, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful and inviting RV resorts we've ever seen. From the time you register until checkout you are treated like the guests of a 5 Star hotel resort. Yes, there are a lot of super premium motor homes here, but they are not in the majority. The sites are beautiful, the guests are the friendliest we've ever experienced, lots of activities, gated entry with full time security. This RV resort certainly sets the standard for premium RV destinations in the southeast. We camped at Mountain Falls Luxury Motorcoach Resort (Class As Only) in a Motorhome.

Apple Valley Farm RV Resort, Lake Lure, North Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The actual name is the Apple Valley Motorcoach Resort. It is located within the Rumbling Bald Resort and is reached through their website and phone numbers. The most beautiful RV resort we have ever stayed at. Originally developed to accommodate Prevost owners only, it is now available for public use (class A coaches only). Most sites face a beautiful lake with magnificent scenery everywhere. Tons of stuff to do at this resort. 2 golf courses, boating, tennis, exercise area, on site restaurants, hiking trails, chapel, etc. All sites are fully concreted, some with gazebos, grills, swings, waterfalls, water wheels, etc. View the website photos of each lot. Located near Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, NC Hendersonville and Asheville, 30 minutes away. There are numerous restaurants and shops nearby in addition to a large supermarket with diesel. If you book more than 3 nights, you get 2 nights free. A true sleeper and relatively unknown to most RVers. We camped at Apple Valley Farm RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park seems to be a part of a larger bison ranch operation, but the RV section has been completely ignored by the owners. It looks dated and neglected, with no visible maintenance or updates. It is 10 miles south of Cheyenne, located on the I-25 frontage road. This park maybe at some time in the past was probably a charming and interesting place to stay, but not now in its present condition. I am surprised at the ratings it gets from Woodalls and Good Sams. We would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for a quality RV experience. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

St Paul East RV Park, Woodbury, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a real sleeper. It feels secluded and rural at first look, but is actually only one mile from several huge shopping and restaurant locations. The owners are heavily involved in the management and maintenance of this park and it shows. They are very friendly and do a great job of staying on top of everything. If you have pets, there is a huge grassy area for pet exercise and play. Many of the park guests we met have been coming here for years. One of the best overall parks we have stayed at. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.
