Rancho Oso RV & Camping Resort, Santa Barbara, California

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely STUNNING and relaxing. Cleanest Bath areas I've experienced in Thousand Trails system! Horses (including Riding stables), cows and scenery that can only be seen, to truly appreciate. Lots of kid friendly things. Pool (s) Hot tub and C-Store. Propane, ice and limited dry goods. Lots of souvenirs. Mail accepted for FREE! With that being said... 2 concerns... 1) Narrow entrance road and most of it is singlelane only. The unwritten rule is LEAVE before 11 am - ARRIVE after 1 pm. NO CELL OR DATA unless you have a booster and/or you go to Adult Lodge ( which is painfully slow!) We have ATT, and Verizon, Sprint and others no work either. PS Remember that you are in California, public lands, parks, museums, beaches and attractions cost $$$ here, so be prepared. We had Grandkids wih us, for 2 weeks, and never had to leave property. We camped at Rancho Oso RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Nicolaus, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet, clean and nice staff. No sewer, in back section. Front section, with sewer, is cramped and busy. We opted for 'non sewer', 3 weeks, no problems. Plenty of dump stations & Rest rooms, so 'Blue Boy' worked just fine. We enjoyed the amazingly CLEAN restrooms! Note: Walnut & Oak trees abound, weep sap, so be careful where you park. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Park is old & rough. Roads in disrepair and pot holed, with tight turns for bigger rigs. No sewer and requires restroom use, to avoid overfilling tanks. Restrooms are horrible. Dirty, old, scary 30 amp electric and doesn't work very well. Blows breakers and staff don't care. No pool, lodge or hot tub. No stores close and freeway noise. In Sonoma Wine country is ONLY nice thing to say about here. I would only stop here for overnight, short stay. We camped at Thousand Trails / Russian River Resort in a Motorhome.

Paradise Cove Resort & Marina, Rockaway Beach, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

At one time, this was probably a good park. Unfortunately, there has been little (more like minimal/none) done for years. Pavement is rough and poor, buildings run down, staff is ambivalent and non-caring. Power goes out often. Nice Marina, on property, and crab pot boils to cook your catch. Will NOT return. We camped at Paradise Cove Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Krazy K RV Park, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Avoid this nightmare! The name characterizes the Managers. Krazy. This camp charges Champaign prices and delivers flat beer product! Besides being right next to freeway, ALL sites, and small spaces. Campground is noisy, crowded and dirty. To add insult to injury, poor access to campground. Even though the campground can be seen from freeway (17) Basically need to drive 3-5 mies, outta the way, to get to it. Prepare to be disappointed if you stay here! We camped at Krazy K RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cascade Meadows RV Resort, La Pine, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Large rig friendly, ALL pull-through and FULL hook-ups, including sewer. Very important in this area. Close to tourist activities and attractions, and shopping, great fishing, mountain bike & hiking. Only downside is that this is as advertised: meadows and no trees. Staff is amazingly good and knowledgeable as well as authentically sincere. Plan to stay here for awhile and enjoy the area. We camped at Cascade Meadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Osprey Point RV Resort, Lakeside, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of Permanents! Handful of 'Decent' sites (next to lake) but are saved for 'paying' customers. Apparently discounted membership rates aren't as valuable. Water/power didn't work so we had to piggyback & share with site next to us as park was full. Cable/Satellite is only option as no over the air signals available. Cable is $2.50/day extra (poor signal & limited channel selection) we watched DVD's. Also 50 amp electric is $5/day. Free Wi-Fi that kinda works.

Park is very run down, doesn't look like photos, loud music, noise till early am,burning garbage as well as trash everywhere, and front desk is uniformed & seems uninterested in caring. Roads have potholes, sites are small & close.

Nice Public, pizza and lake though.

Lots of 'Work-to-camp' employees so don't expect too much. We camped at Osprey Point RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Krazy K RV Park, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Stay away! There's a reason it's called Krazy! Right next to Freeway (Interstate 17). Constant traffic noise. Managers very slick. All about the $ so expect to pay extra for amenities/service. Old, worn out rigs & campers. But, there is an abundance of campers willing to share all the parks rules. We left early and we're still charged for unused days. We camped at Krazy K RV Park in a Motorhome.

St. David RV Resort, Western Horizon, Saint David, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This is a long term stay membership park, primarily. Some short term users. Pet friendly. Fishing pond, golf, professional/helpful staff, shopping close by. Lots of STICKERS/THORNS so be pet aware, as they WILL get infected. Sunny, warm, little breeze. We camped at St. David RV Resort, Western Horizon in a Motorhome.

Countryside RV Resort, Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2014
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean park. Thousand Trails exchange membership. MOSTLY FULL-TIME RESIDENTS and transient customers get 'SECOND CLASS' treatment. In other words, if you don't live here, you 'don't belong' and are treated as such. Pets are an issue for 'NON PET' residents. Management was pleasant, professional and accommodating. Residents are very clickish! We camped at Countryside RV Resort in a .

Robbins Nest Mobile Village (55+ park), Overton, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

If you want a place to really relax, this is it! Plain, non-eventful but, very peaceful. ALL the amenities (short of a clubhouse/pool/activity room) and good grocery store/ hardware (x2) gas and with helpful/nice Managers. Level, gravel spots w/50 amp. Great for a short stay or long term IF, you don't expect a resort. Good unwind before or after Las Vegas. Stayed here 2 weeks, fished, 4-wheeled and relaxed. We camped at Robbins Nest Mobile Village (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
