Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Heavenly, especially after previous KOA. This park is spacious, clean, attractive, accommodating, and QUIET. Far enough from I-10 to be peaceful, close enough for convenience. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this well-planned, well-executed RV park! We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lafayette KOA, Scott, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Should be illegal to construct RV park this close to interstate, also on top of off-ramp where 18-wheelers exit: much too noisy. Very little sleep. Even during day when outside, could not hear companion speaking without shouting. Park staff friendly, park itself clean. Lots to do for children: perfect for family. Stayed 5 days, but this park is not for us. We camped at Lafayette KOA in a Motorhome.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Great bike and hiking trails. Family-friendly, lots to see in immediate area. Staff and volunteers are friendly and efficient. Cable TV would be really nice, as viewing is non-existent by antennae. Even without cable, we LOVE this park. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Motorhome.
