Cedarbrook RV Park & Campgrounds, Mulberry Grove, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Easy one mile from I70, just east of St. Louis. Hostess saw us pull in and met us in the office. After checking in she led us to the site. We were just passing thru, but would definitely stop again. Everything that we saw looked very neat and clean. We camped at Cedarbrook RV Park & Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Van Buren State Park, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We made reservations on line, having never been there before we weren't sure about the different loops. When we arrived, our site was very unlevel. After struggling to get level, we went back to the office. The young lady at the desk was very helpful and we were given a different site to move to. It's about half mile walk to the beach on Lake Michigan (or you can drive) We were one of a few motorhomes, lots of tents and popups, but we had plenty of room. We camped at Van Buren State Park in a Motorhome.

Muskegon State Park, Muskegon, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in the channel campground section of this park. The lake campground section is down the road about 2 miles. We had a site overlooking Muskegon Lake. We really liked the area, being able to enjoy both Muskegon lake and Lake Michigan. They are having problems with pine beetles and a lot of the pine trees have been cut down and left for campers to use as firewood. Fortunately there are oak and cottonwood trees, so there is still shade. We will definitely return. We camped at Muskegon State Park in a Motorhome.

Platte River Campground, Honor, Michigan

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park! Heavily wooded with privacy between spots. We were there in the summer and there were lots of kids, bikes and dogs. Short walk to the beach of Lake Michigan. Kids loved climbing the dunes. We were in Loop 2 and did not have a reservation. We went in on a Wednesday and were able to get a site, although we were surprised how few were available. We will definitely return! We camped at Platte River Campground in a Motorhome.

Terre Haute KOA, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient from I70 for an overnight stay. Lots of shade and very helpful employees. Kids enjoyed the pool and fire rings. We appreciated the free WiFi. My only complaint is that the sites are pretty close together. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.
