Crater of Diamonds State Park , Murfreesboro, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Planned for only 3 nights, added another because this place is BEAUTIFUL. Nicest modern campground I've see. Paved roads, paved level sites, easy back in, plenty of space between sites. Extremely friendly staff. Will be back. We camped at Crater of Diamonds State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Average campground. Spent most of my time in Branson, so really only slept there. We camped at America's Best Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kerrville KOA, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good for an overnight stay. No railroad or major interstate within hearing distance. Very few open sites - most are filled by "long term" residents. General condition was OK. Staff was friendly and helpful. If needing a one night stay I would return, but if I wanted several nights I'd find something else. We camped at Kerrville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Dreher Island State Recreation Area, Prosperity, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Stay 7 nights and loved it. It is a state park and like most you give up a few things for lower price and woods. Will go back again next year. We camped at Dreher Island State Recreation Area in a Fifth Wheel.

New managers were very friendly. Wide open, no shade but perfect for what I needed. Would stay here again. We camped at Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park, Terrell, Texas

Overall Rating:

During past four years have stayed here several times. Very friendly staff and you get a free cookie at check-in. Close enough to Dallas to make the 1 hour drive in. Will always stay here when in the area. We camped at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
