Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks you will ever see. It is new, so the trees are not large, but the park is spacious, with concrete pads, paved roads, and lots of landscaping. It is more like a resort than the typical RV park. the facilities are more resort caliber than park style, with a huge hot tub, gas fire pits for relaxing, and a very large and beautiful club house with different activities. We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Great park run by super friendly people. Stayed a week and this was the perfect place to see Zion, Bryce, the North Rim NP's, and other local attractions. Very clean, and modern restrooms. The WiFi was the best we have ever used at any RV park. The owner is a former Intel guy, so he gets the need for great WiFi. Nice mature trees, and a better than expected pool. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Travel Trailer.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This is as good a park as we have ever been to. All spots are flat, concrete, and fully paved roads. Lots of room between sites, and the restrooms and clubhouse look like a high dollar resort. beautiful views over the valley, as well as to the mountains west of the site. Yes, it is higher priced than other parks in the area, but it is worth it! We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Clovis RV Park, Clovis, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We spent two nights while attending an air show at the local Air Force Base. the park is simple, but all spaces seemed very wide. The bathroom was better than most we have seen - new, clean, and many spaces available. my only concern was that i called for a reservation, but they had not written it down, so we took the last spot that night. Staff was really friendly and helpful with local details. We camped at Clovis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We wanted to stay near Estes Park, but still be in the mountains, and this park fits that description. There are lots of families, but they quiet down after sunset. Steep roads in the park, but it was good exercise to walk around. Spot 68 is great because you are tucked back next to a nice grassy area. The staff is super, and they work hard with a constant smile. It's not cheap, but nothing is cheap in this area. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park of Estes in a Travel Trailer.

Make sure you spend at least 2 days in Rocky Mountain National Park. The 254 mile circle drive takes a full day, but it is worth it!

Rio Chama RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very calm and relaxing park, and twice a day, it gets exciting when the train steams right along the edge of the park. Not fancy, but well maintained. Helpful staff, and the seasonal residents made us short term visitors feel welcome. We have stayed here before, and will return again. In our opinion, this is the nicest park in the Chama area. Fast and reliable Wi-Fi, as well as AT&T cellular service. We camped at Rio Chama RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Alpen Rose RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This park is great. Super friendly hosts/staff, and they make it very inviting. The sites have more room than many parks, and loads of mature shade trees. We have been here before, and from our view, and others we talked to, it is the best park in the Durango area. The train passes by 2 or 3 times in the morning and afternoon, and that adds to the joy of staying here. The free popcorn is addictive! We camped at Alpen Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Modest sized park a few miles outside of town. The owners are super friendly, and really helpful. The sites have more than enough space in between, so you don't feel crowded. We camped at Taos Monte Bello RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Wow! This park is super clean, and very friendly. They even have people raking the gravel in the sites between guests. This is the only bathroom we have seen where every bathroom has its own locking door with sinks, counters and toilets, plus beautiful tiled showers. Upper park sites are new, so the landscaping is still modest. Very wide concrete driveways throughout the park. Stayed for three nights, but we will return. We camped at Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Great Park with very modern facilities (rec room and bathrooms). Super clean with friendly staff. For the price, we have not stayed in such a great location in many years. Stayed for 10 days, and the condition was consistently excellent. We camped at High Desert RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
