I stayed one night camping in a tent. My biggest complaint was the noise from the highway and the train line. If you camp with a trailer or RV you probably won't hear the noise as much as camping in a tent. The park ranger was very friendly and helpful. Lots of green, lush Oak and Elm trees lined the meandering paths and roads. The small cottages were quaint and inviting. The road was very easy to navigate since it was just a simple loop through the campground. The sites looked like grass, a small gravel pad surrounded by trees.

Went down to pickup our first RV in which I had purchased from a good friend. It had been parked at this resort for approximately 2 years. We decided to stay a night to see how to setup and operate everything. Much to our surprise, we fell in love with this resort. First of all, it is a private park with controlled access. Also, it's the perfect location for visiting the Branson area. I really enjoyed the cheap eggs, biscuit and gravy breakfast in which you give your order and then your food is brought to you at your table. The park has just about everything. Huge pool, club house, guest house, air station, storage area, Frisbee golf, all paved, mini golf and security. I even had a maintenance issue and was assisted by a very nice maintenance guy in order to get us back on the road. Lots of shade trees and very quiet.

This site had some pluses and minuses. We had lot 55 which was located near the back of the resort. Lots of permanent residents, which we would rather not see. Water, electric and sewer were fully functional. Wi-Fi was almost none existent. Our kids enjoyed the pool and fishing in the lake. The boats for rental were a joke, as was the mini golf. The store had a lot of daily supplies, with some items being very expensive. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The site is located on a steep hill, so be prepared to climb. The lake area has some flat areas. The street into the resort is mostly washed out and very steep. Before entering the hill, get out and recheck your equipment. Downhill going in and, of course, uphill leaving. The showers and restrooms were clean and bright. I would be hesitate to suggest this site.
