Traverse City State Park, Traverse City, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Great location to explore the the area and a fantastic location for bicycle riding as a 31 mile path is right in the back of the campsites. ATT data - 5 bars. Sites are very tight so anyone over 30 feet needs to pay attention to site descriptions. Roads are paved and also very tight with trees very close to road - go slow and no problems. Beach access, plenty of outdoor activities to keep all entertained. We will return but probably again in Sept/Oct and not high season of summer. We camped at Traverse City State Park in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and spacious park for an urban area. Construction is complete and park is in beautiful condition with showers, individual bath houses, and common areas all in great shape. Several play areas for kids and no problem parking or exiting. Shuttles to downtown are very convenient and tours are readily available each day. Office staff is only possible area of improvement as previous poster is accurate in description. Overall a good experience - we love Nashville and this is the best park to stay albeit the price is high. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Red Coconut RV Resort, Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $84.00
Overall Rating:

A great location for beach lovers, biking, and walking along with pet friendly beach rules. You are paying to have direct access to the beach and the Gulf of Mexico and the price is well worth it for that alone. Campground is very friendly, quiet, and clean with a great maintenance staff. Services were good. All showers and bathrooms were clean and accessed only via a key. Access to parking is tight to say the least, but not a problem with the help provided by park staff. Only negative is the office staff. They could use a good course in customer service as they are less than helpful and close to rude. Overall a great stay and our fourth time. We will return for sure. We camped at Red Coconut RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great campground with plenty of space between sites and the condition of the grounds is impeccable. Dog friendly. Community campfire was a nice touch and everyone we met was extremely friendly and offered many ideas for activities and places to visit. Cedar Key is a hidden gem. We will return. Lake Monroe Village, Bloomington, Indiana

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Close to Bloomington and IU campus for a visit. Nice setting with good walking/hiking trails and plenty of open space, very clean and sites had choice of gravel or concrete pads with an upcharge for concrete. All facilities were spotless and although the campground is mainly set up for seasonal owners/renters they went out of the way to make us feel welcome at an Oktoberfest party in the pavilion one night. Only downside is price is a little high for this time of year. We camped at Lake Monroe Village in a Motorhome.

Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: February, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park with all the right amenities and easy access. The bathhouses were fantastic, store was fully stocked, sites are level and have several different options for all kinds of RV travelers and campers. Park was not full, and campground staff provided us with a free upgraded site which was not necessary but well received. Roads on the exit can be a little tight for a big rig with overhanging trees but it was not a problem for us. Great access to downtown Nashville and the area sights. Definitely coming back. We stayed here for three nights. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Bear Cave Resort, Buchanan, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Rustic setting on the river with sites in the heavily wooded area or out in the open. Mainly gravel or hard packed grass and clay. Could use some updating in the showers and baths but overall a peaceful setting and quiet. Roads are very narrow but accessible and office and activity center is friendly and helpful. We camped at Bear Cave Resort in a Motorhome.

Brown County State Park, Nashville, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is the second time we have stayed here and loved every minute. Stayed in the Buffalo Ridge loop that is closest to the entrance in site 86 that was shaded and had plenty of room to back our 40ft RV into the spot. Hiking trails, fishing, very large swimming pool. Cell service is spotty but the setting is fantastic. We camped at Brown County State Park in a Motorhome.

South Bend / Elkhart North KOA, Granger, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground that is convenient to many of the areas attractions. Sites are mostly a little tight in some spots, majority gravel and grass but level and all amenities (pool, showers, restrooms) are very clean. Employees on site all weekend at gate and patrolling campground made for a safe environment. Trees provided great shade. We camped at South Bend / Elkhart North KOA in a Motorhome.
