Green Valley RV Resort, Green Valley, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

If you need a one night stay in Green Valley Do not stay here! This park is 95% full time retirement permanent residents. It's a very nice park for that purpose but they do not cater to overnight guests. If you're not over 55 years you cannot stay here. The overnight sites are dirt not gravel, its expensive and they only take cash. They stuck us in front of an abandoned metal building way in the back next to another permanent mobile home. We've been camping for 10 years and this was the worst site we've ever been in! We camped at Green Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Cottonwood, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful state park minutes from the cute town of Cottonwood. If you like mountain views stay in Quail Loop sites 1-10. No sewer but nice bathrooms and easy dump station. A short 30 minute drive to Sedona with lots to see along the way. We stayed 2 nights and wish it was longer! We will go back some day! We camped at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in a Motorhome.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet park for overnight or extended stay. No grass for dogs but they do have a contained dog area. Easy to get to from I40. Definitely unhook and drive around the area. Go to the El Rancho hotel - it's a neat old hotel and the food isn't bad either! We camped at USA RV Park in a Motorhome.
