Stacked and packed. Barely enough room to open the slides. Wifi at office area only. Staff unhelpful, take your money and on your own. Will not stay here again. We camped at Clinton / Knoxville North KOA in a Motorhome.

Clean excellent park. A little hard to get into in a motorhome, but once in a fantastic park with great hiking trails, views of the lake. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Red Top Mountain State Park & Lodge in a Motorhome.

Hilllside Park, Clinton, Ohio

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Altough a very pretty park, it is designed for seasonal campers, with many existing campers falling apart. Weekend campers are just pull in and set up, very little in the way of designated campsites. Although there are 50 amp service sites there is a panel with 4 outlets of 50 amp service, and unless you have a long long cord, you won't have 50 amp service. Restrooms were filthy dirty, with most toilets not working, showers rooms dirty. Although they claim to have dump stations, one is not accessible, and we had to pitch a fit to get the other one pumped, even though we were there at the opening of the camping season. When we complained about not having water, the manager, who was drinking, made it clear that we we were just lucky to have him there to complain to. I would under no circumstances stay there again, and give it anything but a poor review. We camped at Hilllside Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent park. Wildlife in abundance; deer, wild turkey, sand hill cranes in our campsite. Great hiking trails. We are going back next January. We camped at Lake Kissimmee State Park in a Motorhome.
