Beautiful, well kept resort with most lots arranged around 2 small (yes, there are fish) lakes or around a fairly challenging executive golf course. Despite what is stated in a prior review, there are approximately a dozen pull through sites towards the rear of the park and they are enormous. As with many FL snowbird resorts, there aren't many kids but they are welcome and in evidence. The lake site we were on had full hookups on both sides of the site allowing a 5ver to back in and see the lake or a MH to pull in and see the lake. Wi-Fi is available at the 2 clubhouses and at your site if you are within range of the clubhouse. Many social activities, 2 pools & spas with a 3rd one staked out for construction. An easy drive to the Marco beaches or the many many Naples' beaches

This campground changed ownership a year+ ago and it shows. Mgt. is most accommodating and it appears that every area of the park has been brought totally up to date. All sites are pull throughs, gravel and level. There are a few more sites than the 50 I've listed but those are still being updated and leveled. Sites are not crowded and the terracing gives even more of a feeling of spaciousness. There are 3 WiFi repeaters and wifi is clearly available at all sites. The park is nestled in a basin with 360 degree views of mountains. Located sufficiently off the interstate that even truck noise is not noticeable. A nice 'little old time village' is located in front of the property which would be fun for kids. Trees at every site but still satellite friendly.

Excellent park not found in Trailer Life or Woodall. We were assigned a site in the new section - a backin on a cul de sac. Very wide sites, some of the widest we've seen in a private park, and very long. We were able to park our 40' 5th on the site without even being on the end of the pad and still had ample room on the pad to park our med. duty truck with ample walking room between. Site backed up to and had a view of their pond (stream) which has a paved walkway around it and a bridge over it. The new (2nd) park building is nearly complete with the new laundry already open. The game room being finished is very well done as are the bathrooms. The existing building has a common area/seating area, BBQ area, baths and laundry. Both buildings have designated weather shelters. Office is off site about 1/2 miles south and 1/2 mile east of the park. Owners run a farming operation (and others) and the office is at their farm which has a large circular drive to the office more than adequate for any big rig or 18 wheeler. Though there is no pool, the price ($23 daily/$112 weekly) makes up for that. Super Wal-Mart/Target etc. about 1 mile south of the park entrance (1st stop sign); then left/west two miles and right at the 1st traffic light west of the I35 overpass.

First I want to thank the previous 2 posters. Because of their comments, almost didn't stay here but since we needed to have our mail forwarded, we did stop. The other posters lowered my expectations so much that the park was a pleasant surprise. Don't get me wrong, the park already saw better days 10 yrs ago but it's not as bad as was indicated. The access road is gravel for 1/2 mile and that is mostly dust controlled. It is washboard but we're in no hurry. Interior roads are gravel but are in good condition and only very mildly dusty. Though the office area is dingy and old and not well maintained, park facilities are maintained OK. For a private park and especially for a former KOA, the sites are 1) long enough for big rigs (we're a 40' 5th), 2) really quite wide 3) grass and trees between sites, 4) level front to back and side to side. Sites are full hookup with 50 amp available and though tree'd, it's pretty easy to get a satellite signal. Cell service is great and there is a ton of nearby shopping on 32nd St.

Good quiet overnight travel stop. Very friendly and helpful management/owners. Level gravel pull throughs with full hookups. Sighting even a tripod sat dish was pretty much impossible. Downgrade rating only because no pool etc. however price reflects same.
