This park is a gem! The newer owners have fixed it up very nice. Loved the shade trees.yes ask on check in for a satellite site, they have a list of which sites work. As there is no cable. Pull thru was tight but very nice. The forest and views are amazing. Yes noise from I-40 Older electric box, suggest a surge protector. Met owners on entry. Very nice. Great spot. I'll be back. Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA, Fort Mill, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

The young man who took my reservation, up sold me to a premium site. Upon arrival I spoke to another staff member who fixed the problem. Very old roads are small w potholes. Pool was awesome looks new. Bar next to the office. Office is inside of a Valero gas station. Gravel sites are very shady (no satellite) but a tad tough to find level. Good access to highway. Fine for a stop over. Needs work. We camped at Charlotte / Fort Mill KOA in a Motorhome.

Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA, Jonestown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice koa. Set up for campers with kids. River & kayaking. Great little short order grill & ice cream. Small market & store w fishing, camping supplies. A fantastic laundry room. A VERY hard rain fell flooding the campground and a wonderful woman ( employee) with rubber boots and shoulder length gray hair woke me in the morning to see if I wanted to stay. I chose to leave. Backing out of my site. She was joined by a younger woman. They stuck with me and made certain I was clear and no other campers were in danger. Nice park great employees. But without kids you might be spending foolishly. Gravel hard on dogs paws. I will stay here again. We camped at Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA in a Motorhome.

Ames Brook Campground, Ashland, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

OK, so I'm calling these guys and leaving messages all winter. About to spend a huge chunk to drive here from CA. Not good at answering. Finally, one of the staff got back to me a few times. These people are awesome!! Great couple run a clean and beautiful park. We loved it. The little town nearby is cute but up the road a few miles is all you need. We camped at Ames Brook Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Couldn't find a place in the area. Called and the very nice young woman said don't worry I'll get you a spot for tonight. And she did. Extremely nice people as were the other campers. Place was packed. Extremely foggy in the morning in June so plan for that. Good interior roads. Close to two major highways. Cable was great lots of channels. Site level on gravel with a big tree & table. NOTE: no trees in New section. Sparkling pool I did not use. I will come back. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Prospect Mountain Campground, Granville, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Terrible roads for a big Motorhome. There are other roads but, when I asked at the desk, I was told nope that's the only way! Laundry room had 1 washer working and one dryer that did not work. So we had clothes lying all over the rig for two days drying! Interior roads have terrible pot holes and ruts. Pull thru with a 40' MH and a 16' trailer was a challenge. Nice enough park (once you get there) and the pool was awesome. Looks as if, at one time, it was wonderful but we didn't find anyone who really seemed to care. Won't return. We camped at Prospect Mountain Campground in a Motorhome.

This Park was cetainly a gem and is still nice. The Staff is great. The owners follow up with a survey by email showing they care. 106 degrees during our stay. Power was fine A/C ran most of the time. The Swimming Pool and Spa are great. Location is where you can get to things without much trouble. However nothing is right there. Concrete slab. Saw some with grass and shade. We will return. We camped at Shadow Hills RV Resort in a Motorhome.

RV Ranch at Grand Junction, Clifton, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest in the area. Grass & tree's with asphalt roads and concrete pads. Full hookups. Wi-Fi is very good and included for the first 14 days through Tengo. Managers are great, park staff very friendly. Summer pancake breakfast on weekends for a small charge and ice cream in the evening. Close to all. Very kid friendly. Not enough trash cans (they overflow on weekends). Pool finally opened on June 1. We will stay here again. We camped at RV Ranch at Grand Junction in a Motorhome.

Denver Meadows RV Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I arrived after hours and found a site. I used my circuit protector on the first power station, and it was miswired. The second worked fine, once I got around the wasps nest inside the box. Cable TV hasn't been connected for a long time by the looks of the cable. Sewers have no threads for a good connection as well as being located in the middle of the site so its necessary to crawl under the coach to connect. There are a few trees, and those sites don't seem to have as many stickers. Dish network and local TV worked well. Located close to downtown. We camped at Denver Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.
