Augusta West Kampground, Winthrop, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice lake swimming during heat wave. Very close to neighbors. Sand and grave hard to keep out of camper. Electricity kept going on and off. Grounds are not landscaped and not attractive or inviting. We stayed here to be able to visit with nearby family and beyond that convenience was not particularly enjoyable. The park is almost all seasonal campers. We camped at Augusta West Kampground in a Motorhome.

Sunset Point Campground, Harrington, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Small campground overlooking water inlet on grass sites. Most have full hookups. Quiet with great sunsets over the water, stars, and sunrise. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most beautiful campground we have ever been in. The wind does blow from noon. Interesting to watch the tide below come and go. We camped at Sunset Point Campground in a Motorhome.

A-Okay RV Mobile Home and RV park, Dothan, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They talked us into the park on a dark night when we were very tired. Park is quiet and mostly permanent campers. All dirt roads but not a problem as it was not raining. Pull-through sites were easy to negotiate. Park is being developed in a pasture. We would stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at A-Okay RV Mobile Home and RV park in a Motorhome.

Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were close but not difficult to pull into. Loved being close to the beach, hearing the surf and watching the sun come up. Would stay here again. Construction of new water park made driving through the park difficult. Park has wonderful access to the beach with handicapped accessible covered decks to sit and look out at the water on. There are many activities for families. Entrance to the park is from a divided very busy road and not easy to negotiate. Finding our site in such an enormous park was very difficult at dusk. Hook ups were well placed and easily used. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Madison, Madison, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Could not understand person who answered the phone on three occasions. It was difficult to find the park. Turns were not well marked. Pull through sites were too narrow and site was not level and sewer connections too far away too close to the road. Had to move three time to find a site to accomodate 27 ft trailer and tow car and one that would accommodate leveling system. Each site we stopped the ground was very littered with trash and appeared not to have been cleaned anytime recently. Park on the whole is full of trash. We would not stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Madison in a Motorhome.
