Clear Creek RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice small park near enough to town to walk to stores and restaurants. It is hard to get into as they do not take reservations. It is in a city park so you share it with a lot of locals. We camped at Clear Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Leisure Lake Membership Resort, Joliet, Illinois

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here because it was the closest park that we could find to Chicago. It is also a Passport America park so a lot of days are half price. There is a Good Sam discount on the other days. It's by two freeways so a sound machine is good for sleeping. We camped at Leisure Lake Membership Resort in a Motorhome.

Allendale / West Grand Rapids KOA, Allendale, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are very large, but ours had a lot of trash left on it. The laundry was clean. There are a couple of ponds that they advertise as fishing lakes, but because of the lack of rain they were very low. We camped at Allendale / West Grand Rapids KOA in a Motorhome.

Holiday Park Campground, Traverse City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice well maintained park with a lot of Airstreams. Our GPS could not locate it by address. The young woman in the office said this was a common problem. She gave us good directions over the phone. We stayed in the newer area and did have sewer. We camped at Holiday Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground with spacious sites. There are a lot of kids, but we're retirees and thought they were fun to watch. We appreciated the golf discounts and used them twice during the week. The course was in great shape and fun to play. Our suggestions for park improvements would be: an escort to the site, a more convenient garbage service and a laundry facility. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very kid friendly. There was a beach and water within walking distance and the rest of the Dells was convenient to get to from here. We were camped in an open field that was easier to get into than the areas with trees. We did not have sewer and their dump is hard to get to. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

St Paul East RV Park, Woodbury, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are friendly, but some of the helpers are a little short on personality. The park is clean and well maintained except the laundry room which has a lot of cobwebs and only one basket. We camped at St Paul East RV Park in a Motorhome.

The friendly owner gave us a lot of information about the area. It's a very nice and well kept RV park for an overnight stop or a longer stay to enjoy the many activities in the area. We camped at Countryside RV Park, LLC in a Motorhome.
