I grew up camping here with my grandparents and use to love camping here. Now that I am older with a family of my own we decided to take the camper there and camp since I hadn't been there in 10 years. Campground has went down over the years but the current owners are putting a lot of time and money into it. This campground is nice and has a lot of potential. It would only take just a little bit to make it a 10. I would recommend this campground to anybody.Make sure you take some bread that you would like to get rid of to go feed the fish and the ducks.

This was our first time camping in this area. We had a really good time. Campground was in a good location. Close to everything but off the beaten path to give you some peace. Trolley comes by I believe about every 30 minutes to take you in to pigeon forge. We stayed right by the pool and the kids loved it. Sites are a little tight but it was fine.

This is my favorite campground so far since we have been camping. Very nice campground situated right on Barkley lake. If you do stay here you have to go in to Grand Rivers and eat at Patti's 1800 settlement restaurant. Order their famous pork chops they are out of this world. The only reason why I did not give it a 10 is that I feel that a campground that get's a 10 has everything. And Canal doesn't have everything but it's close. Would recommend this campground to anybody.
