Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

A former KOA and a little run down, small sites, no trees, but the staff was friendly. Older folks. Not where I would come back to for more than 1 night. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This IS a resort RV park, and it looks like it. Lush grass, concrete pads, trees but not real mature, great pool area, great unisex shower/restrooms. Right off main street so if not in back, you get road/traffic noise at night. Gated entry. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice and quiet, except for the train whistle at night. park of a BIG ranch and entire park is on a hillside. The site are fairly level but you may have to use leveler. Free ice cream when you register. ;-))) Close to Little Big Horn Park and other interesting spots. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Dick's RV Park, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Big park located between two major highways. Many permanents and some pretty trashy. VERY noisy, even at night. I use ear plugs to sleep. The lay out was good, mostly gravel and sites are not always level. Staff was friendly enough but hurried to tell you things. probably would not stay here again but good for one nighters. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderland RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely clean and inviting campground. Deep, thick grass (but don't drive on it) nice sites, easy to get into (don't drive on the grass) and very friendly staff. But they tell you SEVERAL times, No rugs, no chairs and NO driving on the grass. Otherwise, great place to stay while at Capitol Reef National Park. Good Wi-Fi, good water pressure, sewer, electricity, easy access, activity room etc. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice campground except for one thing. If you enter where the main sign says to (by the office) the back-in sites are facing the wrong way, so you have to turn around to back into you site. A real pain. There are no pull thru sites. New owner. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There are two entrances. Once you pull in the main entrance, your screwed. Either back out onto the road and enter the unmarked way, or turn around in the park to back in your site.

Hitch-N-Post Campground, Panguitch, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We did not pick this campground but out of necessity. We had some engine problems and had to park to camper to take the truck to a shop two doors north of the campground. The staff was sympathetic and help us a much as they could. He explained the small town of Panguitch Utah in high def detail, and then said he'd block off the site for 5 days if necessary until the truck was fixed. It was not a fancy place, but comfortable, clean, quiet, some trees and good access off the main road. I would stop here again. Plus the town is cute. We camped at Hitch-N-Post Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Not many campgrounds impress me, this one did. It was extremely clean, well kept, friendly and arranged great for easy entry and exiting with your RV. The sites were nice but not overly wide. All the utilities were situated together. The sites were level and good parking, showers were close and they had ramadas for groups. There is a great footpath right off the campground that parallels the river/lake which is great for walks, bicycling or jogging. It goes for miles. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We liked the area for antiquing, shopping and just sightseeing. Clarkston and Lewiston are two cities around the river from each other and seem like one big town with the little town feel.

The King's Court RV Park, Grand Coulee, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is definitely a one-nighter. Mostly permanents with 1 or 2 spots for overnights. The office is across the street. The park is a strip of land next to the road and some houses behind it. There is the town's only laundromat in the park. Spots are pretty tight, especially with our 33 ft. fifth wheel. The park does offer a free ride to and from to see the light show at the dam after dark. They did have all utilities and cable. The staff was friendly. We camped at The King's Court RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Colonial Creek (NPS Campground), North Cascades National Park, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

It was beautiful, the trees were thick, but not made for larger RVs unless you look closely at the map before you reserve. Find one that is WIDE, not so narrow we could barely get out of our RV. This is a tenters paradise. Plus it was bloody hot and with no electricity, we had to leave. We camped at Colonial Creek (NPS Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.
