Timberlake Resort Campground, Mears, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We originally planned to stay for 3 nights, extended an additional 3 nights, then added 4 more. Really enjoyed the park. They just added more sites that had 50 amp service and we had one of them. Open area where we were (too new to be on their map) and had great satellite reception. Busy on weekends but real quiet during the week. Only complaint we had was the golf carts speeding. Even the park employees were speeding. Young drivers (under 16) as well. We would stay here again. We camped at Timberlake Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Alton RV Park, Galloway, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice small park not too far off the interstate. The spaces are narrow, but comfortable. It is laid out very well with easy access in and out. No shade, but is very clean. Owner is very efficient and escorts you to your site. Would stay here again. We camped at Alton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Thousand Trails / Indian Lakes (now both TT and KOA), Batesville, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2012
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park 3 yrs ago and had a great stay. Now, I will never stay here again. So many of the electric connections don't work and many of the water spigots don't work either. It took us a long time to find one that had both that did work and some shade. The 50 amp connections are very few with most being 30 amp. There are only 44 spaces with sewer. We are members of Thousand Trails, so it didn't cost us anything other than our dues. We camped at Thousand Trails / Indian Lakes (now both TT and KOA) in a Motorhome.
