This is a unique lakeside park about 7 miles off the freeway. However, we have 2 yellow Labs who would swim before they eat so we made the call. The site 47 was a long pull through with a view of the lake. It is rustic but I would definitely stay here again.

This was an outstanding park for $20 a night. I am so spoiled with a sewer hook up it was good for me to realize bathrooms are a huge part of camping. The management is so friendly as are the people who camped around us. The lake provided swimming for the infamous yellow labs. What more could you ask for.

Date of Stay:

We stayed 4 days. The creek and green disc golf area were wide open and fun to run in with two yellow labs. They also found the creek. If I had criticism it would be the laundry was not updated or very clean (the machines). The contact for the city and the camp host were very friendly and easy to work with. I would stay here again.

Clean, long sites, not a dog run on the park but we played ball because the park was not too full. Shade trees are still growing. Nice staff who guided us to the Hole in the Wall restaurant that had a wonderful steak dinner with good pricing. Easy on off freeway access but was not bothered by noise. Would definitely stay again.

I am undecided about the park. It is easy access and quiet. The vet hospital across the way has a large area to exercize yellow labs and walking in the parking lot next door is easy as well. Access to the sites is not easy for big rigs. And if I recall correctly they allow two RVs on some sites so if you want to leave early you must be the first RV into site. The staff is friendly and the park is clean.

This is very close to Charleston. Great sites and easy to get into. The camp host is wonderful and knowledgeable. We wanted to see so much we stayed 6 days. Dogs on leash at the sites.

Military only. Next to Ft Knox. Quiet/great laundry/lots of trees. Satellite good. Internet not so good. Easy access access dor big rigs. Loved the staff. Large sites

The staff is friendly, the sites are large, and easy access for a 40' motorhome. It is easy to drive by after entering Ft Bridger. Go slow and look for the entrance between a covered wagon and gift store soda fountain. Small laundry 2 washers and dryers but so easy to relax while waiting.

This is a beautiful well run campground. The water is a nice bonus. There are no trees so it was very hot. The sites are large enough to enjoy with grass. The restaurant is wonderful.

Pretty park but the sites are uneven and some are on a circle. Not really easy to access. I would stay here again

We love this park and the management is so helpful about the area. Stay here and drive the Columbia River Gorge. Wonderful. Great spot to swim the labs. Park was neat clean and good sites.

You must be an Elks Lodge Member. The sites are fairly large and easy to access. There is a large grassy area where we ran our two Labs. beautiful views and the lodge is very nice.

We are 1000 trails members and think this is the best camp we have experienced. Large grassy pet area by the river so dogs can swim. Large sites but no sewer hook up. On-site store with many activities available. Coffee shop and restaurant. You pick the available site. This is a rustic camp.

Pretty campground with creek running through, but the sites are not paved so muddy with rain. Satellite was not accessible. Great place to walk and enjoy the wildlife. Couer d'Alene Lake was easy access.
